A new Selfie Spots Project has been launched by the Division of Tourism.

It is designed to enhance visitor experience and promote Tobago as a top-tier tourism destination. The first phase of the project will unveil ten vibrant, Instagram-worthy installations throughout the island, each celebrating the unique culture, history, and natural beauty of Tobago. 00:00The initiative is a collaboration between the Division of Tourism, the Tobago Tourism
00:05Agency Limited, and Coca-Cola Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago Limited, aimed at providing
00:11visitors, both local and international, with memorable photo opportunities that showcase
00:18the charm and spirit of Destination Tobago.
00:21Senior Manager of Marketing at Coca-Cola Caribbean Bottlers, Ms. Mazet Blackel, explained that
00:29expanding the company's brand footprint, while at the same time enticing persons to
00:35explore local attractions, was the driving force behind this partnership.
00:39She said,
00:40We are happy to partner with the Division of Tourism and T-TAL as we strive to encourage
00:46visitors to capture and share their experiences at each site, with the ultimate goal of attracting
00:52new visitors to the island.
00:54The Selfie Spot project encourages visitors to scan the barcode located on each sign and
01:00post it with the tag at VisitTobago and hashtag TobagoSelfieSpot on social media when sharing
01:08their selfies.
01:10Secretary of the Division of Tourism, Councillor Tashia Porris, in sharing about the project,
01:15stated,
01:16This project was conceptualized in 2022 to encourage visitors to experience the island.
01:23With this intention, the launch of the 101 Selfie Spots seeks not only to highlight the
01:29breathtaking beauty of our destination, but also to support tourism and community engagement.
