Could a tropical storm form around Halloween?

Hurricane season isn't over yet, and AccuWeather forecasters are concerned that the Caribbean could still spawn another storm.

00:00we are concerned about again a really powerful storm but it's only an issue for boating at this

00:07point this is way out there over the open water and the good news is this is very likely to curve

00:12north of hawaii and stay north of that area this is a category 5 hurricane cat 5 here we're looking

00:19at hurricane christie 160 mile per hour max sustained winds and menacing storm and the

00:24satellite estimated radar here you can see it's a very heavy rain associated with that

00:28here's a higher resolution view you can see the fanning uh outward type cirrus clouds outside of

00:35the the canopy of thicker clouds it's a beautiful storm especially because it is so far from land

00:42and no impact to anybody here in at least over land masses across the pacific then we go to the

00:48to the the caribbean here and we don't have any really widespread deep convection which is good

00:53so we have a generally clean sweep here no tropical threats in the short term that won't be

00:59the case for too long though we are concerned about development around the middle and latter

01:03part of next week here so here we have uh that time frame between around next wednesday uh through

01:10the following weekend so following uh the the time frame of around halloween we're going to

01:14be keeping an eye out for a medium chance of development now there are still some questions

01:18here will this storm form and curve north there's still a chance it could come up and be a threat to

01:23florida or it may be more of an issue just in nicaragua belize or parts of the yucatan we need

01:29to keep an eye on this here but overall we're seeing a lot of wind shear farther to the north

01:34and the good news for the area around the the gulf of mexico you could even see some of these

01:40cloud streamers here a lot of flow across the western gulf of mexico and that's going to be

01:45the beginning of the end of the hurricane season for areas near the texas coast into louisiana we

01:49just can't really clarify yet if florida might be out of the loop regarding that shear
