The West Indies beat hosts Sri Lanka by five wickets in the opening T20 International.

The Sri Lankans made 179 for 7, with captain Charith Asalanka getting 59.

In reply, West Indies reached 180 for 5 in 19.1 overs, with Brandon King scoring 63 and Evin Lewis contributing 50.
