What makes you happy?

As this week celebrated the World’s Mental Health Day we found out what makes people happy around Newark.

00:00Our dogs. Yeah, we've got two Frenchies. Been with each other. Family. We've got six kids

00:16all over the place. We've got one in Cyprus and one in Germany, so visiting there, that

00:22makes us happy. The lovely weather. Yeah. The sunshine. When I'm doing well on here.

00:32More importantly, family. As long as everyone's healthy, I'm well. My dog and my boyfriend.

00:40And that is what makes me happy, my dog, more than anything in the world. Lots of things

00:44make me happy. Lots of things. I like my antiques, the fairs, living here. Oh gosh,

00:53it's hard to say, because sometimes it's something different. Seeing something you haven't seen

00:57before. Wandering around the town. Anything. Okay, well, as long as my family are happy,

01:05I'm happy. Yeah, I feel just the same. I mean, you've got to have something that makes you

01:10happy. Be where the world needs to be. So as long as everything's all right in our lives,

01:15in our families, that's great. That's the main thing. Yeah. My two children and my two

01:21grandchildren and my two great-grandchildren. All over the world. Really over the world

01:27with them, yeah, because when you get to have that many family members, it's fantastic,

01:34isn't it? They're all sort of straight line from me, so to speak. I've got seven brothers

01:39and three sisters, and they're all the old family, but this is my own family. My son,

01:43he lives in New York City at the minute. He has two girls, and it's sort of spoilt it,

01:48because you see them on the computer and things like that, yeah, but it's not the same as giving

01:53them a big hug, is it? You get them close, because they're two girls, one on each arm.

01:59When I go out there to New York, and I get one on each arm, I feel 10 foot taller, do you?
