00:00I'm looking forward to working with EMCA on a range of issues such as transport,

00:05skills and economic development to bring investment into the county.

00:09So how do you, at this standpoint, also with the new authority, how do you see the

00:17relationship with EMCA moving forward?

00:21I don't know what to say to that, yeah, working closely with them.

00:36Are you aware of if it's currently a good relationship, so how is it going to go moving forward?

00:44I have no idea, genuinely, so I have no idea.

00:50I've not met with anyone from EMCA yet, genuinely, so I have no idea.

00:57So what are the priorities for Nottinghamshire?

01:00So we're going to be ensuring that our current major highway schemes are funded and delivered

01:04in order to provide effective travel along our major road corridors.

01:09We've got a major road network scheme, which will see a number of junctions along the route

01:14being upgraded, with the aim of reducing congestion at key intersections, and that is the A6

01:2014 A6 097 major road network scheme. We'll be providing more traffic capacity for the future.

01:27It will support economic growth and housing delivery in the local area and enhance the strategic

01:35road network and support other road users by improving facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.

01:42Okay, so from that, from your standpoint, what would you say one of the top ones of those

01:49is for residents?

01:50Ollerton roundabout, for sure.

01:52I don't know. It just needs fixing.
