Do people prefer to go on holiday abroad or in the UK?

In its weekly voxpop, the Advertiser asked if people would rather stay in the UK for their holidays or go abroad.

00:00it would go abroad to Lanzarote because it is very nice sunshine and I can lay

00:11by a pool for a week straight and not worry about anything me it's got to be

00:17in the UK because my husband hasn't got a passport now so we just love traveling

00:23around the country our favorite places are Cornwall and and Scotland and we do

00:28it regularly I would rather stay in the country we get muddled up with the plane

00:47and the traffic and we're old and we prefer just to keep locally we would go

00:55abroad because the weather is better basically you know it's been raining

00:59today I prefer to stay in in the UK because I think we need to help our

01:05economy by supporting our local activities around the town and also around the

01:11country I've been to Blackpool many times I've been to on coach trips and you know

01:19I believe in seeing all our history in all our country sites around the UK so I

01:25prefer I have done travels overseas but I prefer UK of course

01:31that's all along from us in Europe Europe as well as on the UK so I'm not in a

01:34country without us because it's going to be so much of an excuse that we

01:36are going to be there for people who were speaking to us in terms of our history

01:38and monies who are going to be in the UK so i want to be a part of our country

01:40so I think that the whole country is going to be a great way for us all our history

01:41to be a part of my country but to be part of our country on the UK so we got here

01:43with the new country and our country in the country that the Virgin

01:46were working to be able to be in the UK and we're going to the UK for our country we've been to the UK

01:49and just got something quite a bit of the UK so that we need to be asked for
