नीलगिरि. नीलगिरि जिला प्रशासन ने जिले में आने वाले पर्यटकों को सूचित किया है कि उन्हें उच्च न्यायालय के निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए ई-पास के लिए आवेदन करना जारी रखना होगा। नीलगिरि जिला प्रशासन ने एक बयान में कहा कि नीलगिरि में प्रवेश करने के लिए ई-पास प्राप्त करना 7 मई से अनिवार्य कर दिया गया था। ई-पास के लिए आवेदन करने का आदेश निकट भविष्य में भी जारी रहेगा। अधिकारियों ने कहा चूंकि प्रक्रिया पूर तरह से स्वचालित है और कुछ ही मिनटों में पूरी की जा सकती है, इसलिए पर्यटकों को इस प्रणाली के जारी रहने के बारे में चिंता करने की कोई वजह नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा आगंतुक वेबसाइट के माध्यम से ई-पास के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं। नीलगिरि के निवासियों के लिए उन्हें ई-पास के लिए आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी, जब तक कि वे नीलगिरि (टीएम 43 वाहन) में पंजीकृत वाहनों में यात्रा कर रहे हों। जिला प्रशासन ने नीलगिरि के बाहर पंजीकृत वाहनों में यात्रा करने वाले पर्यटकों और स्थानीय निवासियों से ई-पास के लिए आवेदन करने की अपील की है, जिसकी जिले में प्रवेश देने से पहले सभी सीमा चौकियों पर जांच की जाएगी।
