00:00My thoughts, I think they could have waited.

00:02I think they jumped in a bit too sharp.

00:04I know they're saying there's shortages,

00:07but it's a big disappointment for anybody who's voted Labour all their lives

00:11and could have waited till next election.

00:15I'm not very happy about it.

00:17I mean, I can manage, but there's a lot that can't.

00:21And so it's them I feel sorry for.

00:23I've worked since the age of 16. I'm 69 now.

00:27I've worked all my life, paying the coppers and stuff,

00:31and to think now Labour's getting in

00:34and things are just going to change dramatically.

00:39They could have kept all the government's lunches, couldn't they,

00:42and the free lunches.

00:45As I say, it could cost people their lives and stuff like that, you know.

00:48I don't think they've given it a good enough thought.

00:51Well, I don't know what they could have put, but they could have looked.

00:54I think they've just used it as a quick option to chop something, you know,

00:58and they've hit the pensioners.
