00:17and keep track of its progress,
00:19but I'll also walk you through how to create
00:20a complete content strategy for your website
00:23and then use the tool's AI copywriting feature
00:25to write value-driven articles and blogs.
00:27And finally, I'm gonna show you how to use this tool
00:29to optimize your content so it can rank
00:32on the first page of Google.
00:33So stick around until the end

00:36All right, so we've been using Search Atlas
00:38a lot in our agency recently, and it's really impressive.
00:41So the first thing we're gonna dive into
00:42is the heat map feature.
00:43Now, there are some similar tools out there,
00:45but we found this one to be the most accurate
00:47and reliable we've ever used, and this is how it works.
00:50So first, you enter your domain
00:51and link your Google business profile.
00:53Then you want to add specific keywords
00:55you want your website's and Google business profile
00:57to show up for.
00:58So for instance, this is our client
01:00who is a garden room installer in Essex.
01:02So we're looking at keywords like garden rooms,
01:04garden rooms Essex, garden room installer in Essex,
01:07and garden room installer.
01:09Now, these are all the potential keywords
01:10a person might search on Google
01:12when they're looking for a garden room installer in Essex.
01:14So now this tool will tell us in which position
01:17our Google business profile is ranking on the map pack
01:19in the Essex area whenever someone types in
01:22these exact terms into Google.
01:23Now, this is really important to know
01:25because your Google business profile
01:27is one of the most crucial elements for generating leads.
01:30So you want to make sure it's set up correctly.
01:31Once it's all set up and optimized,
01:33it can be tricky to determine if your profile
01:35is ranking in the top three across multiple areas,
01:38but that's where Search Atlas comes in handy.
01:40It provides a heat map that shows you
01:41exactly where your profile is ranking.
01:43Now, this is how you set the heat map up.
01:45You can add keywords by entering them from here.
01:47Next, you need to select how many layers you want.
01:50The layers indicate how dense
01:51you want the data points to show up.
01:53Typically, three layers is a good balance.
01:55After that, you want to set up the radius of the scan.
01:58Let's set it to a five-mile radius around the business.
02:00We also have the option to refresh this data
02:02monthly or even daily, although personally,
02:05I think daily might be a bit excessive.
02:06So in most cases, refreshing it monthly works just fine.
02:09Now, once that's set up, we run a local scan.
02:12You'll see the tool generates a heat map
02:13showing a five-mile radius around
02:15where the business is located.
02:16It then displays pins on the map indicating
02:19where the business is ranking for the selected keywords.
02:21And right away, you can see we're ranking
02:23in the top three of the map pack for many of these areas.
02:26So this is a solid indication that the map listing
02:28is performing really well.
02:29You can easily switch between different keywords
02:32and see the rankings from each over here.
02:34Now, if we zoom out a bit, we can see a broader view
02:36of where the business ranks.
02:37For example, when we look at the term garden rooms,
02:40it's ranking number one across various locations.
02:42And without a tool like this,
02:43you wouldn't know exactly where your business is ranking.
02:46Let's say we want to refine the heat map
02:47or adjust the radius to four miles.
02:49You can do it easily from here.
02:51As you can see, after changing the radius,
02:53we're still ranking in the top three across the board
02:55for all of these keywords.
02:56You can adjust this as much as you like
02:58and track multiple listings at once.
02:59It's an excellent way to monitor
03:01where your Google business profile is ranking.
03:03And if you notice a drop in any area,
03:05it usually means you need to optimize your profiles further
03:08by adding more photos, getting more reviews,
03:10or by posting more frequently.
03:12And we've got an entire step-by-step guide
03:14on how you can set up and optimize
03:15your Google business listing,
03:17and I'll share the link to that video in our description.
03:19Now, you can also set up weekly reports
03:21to be sent directly to your email,
03:23giving you updates if there are any changes in the ranking.
03:26This is just a great way to stay on top of your local SEO
03:29and ensure your business maintains strong visibility
03:31in your key areas.
03:32So next, we're gonna use Search Atlas
03:34to give us a solid content plan.
03:35First, you go into the Content Planner section,
03:37and from here, we can create a strategic content plan
03:40tailored to your website's requirements.
03:42So for instance, let's say we're working
03:43on a loft conversion website.
03:45We will enter in a broad keyword like loft conversions
03:48and then adjust our location settings to the UK.
03:51After that, we'll click on Generate Keyword Clusters.
03:53Now, this is really useful
03:55because it helps us identify topic ideas
03:57that are relevant and valuable for our content strategy,
04:00whether we're focusing on service pages or blog posts.
04:02Now, by entering a broad keyword,
04:04the tool provides a detailed content plan,
04:06complete with suggestions for various content types
04:09and AI-powered copywriting tools
04:10to help generate the actual content.
04:12And once it's ready, we click to view the topics.
04:14Here, we see a range of keyword clusters and topic ideas.
04:18As you can see, there's this keyword, attic storage,
04:21along with its keyword difficulty and search volume.
04:23And we can use these metrics and select topics
04:25that have a reasonable chance of ranking well on Google.
04:28As we scroll down, you can see this keyword,
04:30loft conversion drawings.
04:32Now, this keyword has a high search volume
04:34and a low keyword difficulty,
04:36making it an excellent choice for us to create a blog on.
04:38If we then go to Google
04:39and search for loft conversion drawings,
04:41we see numerous search results,
04:43including pages specifically dedicated to this topic,
04:46such as loft conversion plans or architectural drawings.
04:49Seeing that there's already demand and content
04:51around this topic on other websites
04:53shows us that it's a relevant
04:54and potentially great topic to target.
04:56Now, once you've identified a topic
04:57using the content planner tool,
04:59the next step is to create the actual content.
05:01Now, this tool makes that process
05:03very easy and very efficient.
05:04You start by clicking on create article,
05:07where you can input your primary keywords,
05:08such as loft conversion drawings
05:10or loft conversion drawing costs.
05:12The tool will also suggest additional keyword ideas
05:14that can help optimize your content further.
05:16You can then proceed by clicking on write with AI.
05:19Now, to structure the article,
05:20you need to add all the header tags,
05:22like the H1, the H2, and the H3.
05:24You'll also need to put in terms to include
05:26or terms to exclude.
05:27And depending on your preference,
05:29you can choose from various AI models,
05:31like ChatGPT or Claude, to help in the writing.
05:34Now, here's a pro tip.
05:35To fill in all the H2 and H3 header tags,
05:37check out existing top-ranking articles on Google
05:40on similar topics.
05:41Then use their headings and subheadings.
05:42For instance, if a competitor's H2 heading
05:45is plan your loft conversion,
05:46you can change that heading a bit
05:48and put in something like how to plan your loft conversion.
05:50This allows you to create content
05:52that is both original and relevant.
05:54Now, you can add AI-generated images,
05:55create FAQ sections to address common questions,
05:58and even decide on the length of the content.
06:00Then just add a brief description
06:02of what you want to be included in the blog over here.
06:04Once you're satisfied with all the details that you've added,
06:07simply click on generate AI content.
06:09Now, Search Atlas will start creating the entire article
06:11based on the inputs we've just provided.
06:13And voila, within minutes,
06:15you now have a fully written article.
06:17What we recommend doing is using this tool
06:18to create AI-generated articles
06:20for multiple different keywords.
06:22It's a great way to build up a variety of content
06:24around different topics that are relevant to your audience.
06:26And if your website is on WordPress,
06:28you can plug the tool directly into your site
06:30and push the article right onto it.
06:32However, I wouldn't suggest just copying
06:33and pasting the AI-generated content
06:35straight onto your site without a human review first.
06:38While AI-generated content can provide a solid baseline,
06:41it's not quite at the level
06:42where you can just publish it as it is.
06:44What you really want to do
06:45is have a human editor go over the content first.
06:48The AI might get you 80% of the way,
06:50but that last 20%, the nuance, the tone,
06:53the quality of the information still needs a human touch.
06:56Make sure you're always going over the content carefully
06:58to ensure it offers way more value
07:00than what's currently out there.
07:01It should have a good structure, offer solid advice,
07:04and provide more in-depth information
07:06than other articles on the same topic.
07:08Essentially, it should be the best article
07:10on the subject on the internet.
07:11And if it's not meeting that standard,
07:13it's just not worth posting.
07:14Now let's create another AI-generated article
07:16based on these keyword ideas.
07:18So for example, we can see that types of loft conversions
07:21is getting around 1,000 searches per month,
07:23and the difficulty level is very easy.
07:25You can simply click on Create Article,
07:27select the keywords you want the article to rank for,
07:30and Search Atlas will even give you an estimate
07:32of how much traffic you can expect from this article.
07:34Now let's just fill in all the details.
07:36So let's put in types of loft conversions as the H1.
07:39Then for your H2s,
07:40you can add different types of loft conversions.
07:42So, Velux or Roof Light, Dormer,
07:45Hiptogable, Manzard, and Modular.
07:47Then select the AI model.
07:48So let's select Claude this time.
07:50After that, we can choose the tone of the article.
07:53Casual, professional, funny, angry, if you really want.
07:56And over here, we will write a short description
07:58about what should be included in the article,
08:01and then click on Create Article.
08:02And there you go.
08:03Search Atlas starts writing the entire article for you.
08:06It'll cover all the different types of loft conversions,
08:08diving into details about each one.
08:10After the article is generated,
08:11it also gives you a score out of 100.
08:13So at the moment, this article content score is 65.
08:16And what you want to do is go through and make adjustments.
08:19The tool also provides suggestions,
08:21like how many times you should mention a keyword.
08:23And it shows which websites are ranking
08:25on top for these keywords.
08:26This gives you an idea of what competitors are doing
08:29and what you need to do to improve your own content.
08:32It's a fantastic tool for building content,
08:34but remember to always look over
08:35the AI-generated content of a human eye.
08:37Sometimes the AI might miss the mark,
08:39so you'll need to use your professional expertise
08:41to fine-tune the article.
