00:35and location. For this video, I'm going to search for plumbers in London. Now, once the search
00:40results come up, we're going to focus on the top organic listing. In this case, it's Pimlico
00:45Plumbers. Now, this is important because these businesses which are ranking on the first page
00:49are doing something right, and we want to implement the same strategy for our website as
00:53well. Next, we're going to take the URL of this top ranking website and drop it into SEMrush. This
00:57will allow us to see how much organic traffic this site is getting. We'll click on organic traffic,
01:02and now you can see the most popular keywords that people are searching for every month.
01:06These keywords are sorted by volume, showing you exactly which keywords are being searched the
01:10most. For example, you can see a lot of people are searching for extractor fans, and SEMrush also
01:15shows you the keyword difficulty level. If the difficulty is green, it means it's relatively
01:19easy to target. If your business involves installing extractor fans, you can see that
01:24there are around 22,000 people searching for this service each month. That's a significant
01:28number of potential customers. As we keep scrolling, you can see this keyword, leak detection,
01:33has close to 15,000 monthly searches and has commercial intent, meaning it's a great keyword
01:38to target because people are searching for this term with an intent of hiring for this service.
01:42Now, we're going to search for this keyword on Google. As you can see, there are some ads at the
01:46top, but we're interested in the top organic result. In this case, it's a company called UK
01:51Leak Detection. When we click through to their site, you'll notice that their entire business
01:56is centered around leak detection. Everything from their homepage to their service pages is
02:00focused solely on this niche. This is a perfect example of a business that has honed in on a
02:05specific service and built their entire online presence around it. Now, let's head over to
02:09SEMrush and put in this website's URL over here. You can see that over the past few years,
02:14their traffic has been steadily increasing with at least 5,500 visitors per month.
02:19What's impressive is that this website is generating significant traffic without needing
02:23a super high domain authority score. Also, they're running ads and have over 1,000 backlinks. Now,
02:28we know this is a good niche to target with high demand but low competition.
02:32Next, you want to create a website that is solely focused on leak detection. For that,
02:36we'll go over to GoDaddy to check out for potential domain name. When we search for
02:40leak detection, we can see leakdetection.co.uk is sadly unavailable. However, GoDaddy often
02:46suggests alternative options such as leakdetectionpros.co.uk. Now, you could either
02:50get this domain or something similar but it has to have the term leak detection in the domain name.
02:55Now that we've decided on the niche and the domain name, the next step will be to market
02:59our services. First, we'll head back to the leak detection website we were analyzing earlier and
03:04we're going to click on the organic traffic and then go to pages. Now, we can see the specific
03:08pages are driving the most amount of traffic. You'll notice that a significant portion of their
03:13traffic comes from the homepage which is likely optimized for key terms like leak detection.
03:17However, it's not just the homepage that's pulling in traffic. They also have a variety
03:21of blog posts and pages focused on specific topics. For instance, they've got blogs on
03:26leak seals, should you use it, and water leak detection and other similar content.
03:31These posts are not just informative but are also strategically designed to attract visitors
03:35through long tail keywords. Each of these pages are built to solve specific problems related to
03:40leak detection which is why they rank well and bring in a steady stream of traffic. So, this
03:44is exactly what we need to do on our websites and create blogs on topics that solve problems
03:49for our customers. The next step is to build service pages targeting different locations
03:53throughout the country. For instance, if you're setting up a UK-based leak detection business and
03:57you want to create service pages for specific towns and cities across the UK. To make this easy,
04:02go to ChatGPT and put in this prompt. List all the towns and cities in the UK. Now, use this list
04:07to create location-specific pages for each area, allowing you to rank for local searches across
04:12the country. You can create pages like leak detection Bedfordshire, leak detection Berkshire,
04:17leak detection Bristol, and so on. By doing this, you target people searching for leak detection
04:22services in those specific areas. When someone in Bedfordshire, for example, types leak detection
04:26Bedfordshire into Google, your service page dedicated to that region has a better chance
04:31of appearing in the search results. The goal here is to build the biggest and best website
04:35in your industry. Go through the content and structure of the leading websites in your niche
04:39and create better content than them. Build more service pages and ensure your content is more
04:43valuable and engaging than that of your competitors. Once you've set up your website, the next step is
04:47to build your social presence. You want to make sure that you're posting regularly on platforms
04:52like TikTok and Instagram. For example, if we go to TikTok and type leak detection, all these
04:56different videos show up. You can see this video has got 2.3 million views. This one, 325,000 views,
05:03and all the other videos have a view count in the tens of thousands. You want to do exactly this and
05:07be aggressive with your posting. If you're confused about what to post, look at what other industry
05:12leaders are posting and just do the same. By constantly posting valuable content, you can
05:16quickly build a substantial following and establish yourself as an authority in the industry. When
05:20people visit your website and they click through to your social media profiles, seeing a highly
05:24active and engaged presence reinforces your credibility. Next, you want to have a unique
05:29offer on your website. Even if you rank at the top of Google and get loads of traffic,
05:33you need something that sets you apart when visitors land on your site. For instance,
05:37this website's unique offer is UK's only no fine, no fee leak detection. Now, to stand out,
05:42your offer needs to be just as unique, if not better. It should be something that makes people
05:47instantly see the value in choosing your service over others. The key is to make your offer so
05:52enticing that it's a no-brainer for potential customers to pick you over the competition.

06:01visit, they choose your service immediately. Next up, you want to focus on getting plenty of
06:05reviews on your Google business listing. For example, if you search for leak detection UK
06:10and check the map pack, you'll see companies like Leak Traces Direct with 67 reviews and UK
06:16Leak Detection with 57 reviews at a 4.8 star rating. These reviews play a big role in influencing
06:21potential customers. To stand out, aim to have more reviews than your competitors and a better
06:26rating. It's not as hard as it might seem. If you complete 100 jobs and encourage those clients to
06:31leave positive reviews, you can quickly build up a solid reputation online. This strategy will help
06:36you dominate the map pack and make your business the obvious choice for anyone searching for leak
06:40detection services. Now, the final step in building a strong online presence for your business is to
06:44showcase all your social proof directly on your website. This means plastering your website with
06:49reviews, testimonials, and any accreditations or badges from well-known companies you've worked
06:54with. This builds trust and helps potential customers feel confident choosing you over the
