00:06We were determined to reunite them with their mom.

00:09They were a month old when we rescued the twin calves.

00:13Hi babies, what do you think?

00:15Twins are not desirable for dairy farmers.

00:19They're often seen as useless.

00:21We asked about their mom, but they didn't want to give her up.

00:25They said that she was still producing.

00:27It was our goal to reunite this family.

00:31When they first arrived, they were glued to each other.

00:34What are you doing? Is this a good pillow?

00:36Baby's got a bottle upgrade.

00:39We were bottle feeding them, and that really helped them to realize that they were safe.

00:45Watching them come out of their shell, figuring out how they wanted to play was really cool.

00:55Titus is super extroverted. He wants to be the center of attention.

01:00Tabitha is much more reserved, and she's equally sweet.

01:04Just by watching Titus, Tabitha was able to gain some confidence.

01:15Now they're total teenagers. I would see these two really trying to make connection with me.

01:25After the twins had been here a while, we really felt like they were starting to acclimate to the sanctuary.

01:31One day, we got a call about their mom, and they were finally willing to surrender her to us.

01:43It was very, very exciting because we could finally reunite the family.

01:47Just by entering the property, she could smell her base, and she knew that they were here.

01:52But we didn't know how long it was going to be until we could reunite the family because she was pregnant.

02:04She gave birth to Tulsi, and we were so excited.

02:17Seeing how loving and attentive of a mother Tarragon was, it just felt unimaginable to think that anybody could take her babies.

02:24Tarragon and Tulsi were quarantined for longer because we just wanted them to have bonding time.

02:38They were just glued to the fence line. They were like, wait a minute, I know you.

02:43Tarragon was over the moon.

02:45Once they calmed down, we were like, okay, let's open the gate.

02:51All of the humans were crying at that point.

02:54We had been advocating for this family for a really long time.

02:59Tarragon loves all of her babies.

03:02They love being around each other all the time.

03:07Everybody's together. They'll never be separated.
