00:00Alright, hi people, it's Jakes here and I'm here to do another unboxing for you guys today
00:05and a review of the SH Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Piccolo, the Proud Namekian.
00:13So yeah, this is a reissue of the revamped version of Piccolo that they released a few
00:21years ago, something like that, when they were revamping the whole SH Figuarts line
00:25with just better quality figures and everything than were already there.
00:30So yeah, and I wanted to get this for a while.
00:35So yeah, I've been buying pretty much every new version or even reissue of all the Dragon
00:42Ball SH Figuarts that I've wanted.
00:46So yeah, but here we go.
00:51So yeah, so on the front you have the SH Figuarts logo, Piccolo, the Proud Namekian
00:56and that in Japanese I assume, you got Piccolo right there, I think that's the render, Tamashii
01:03Nations quality sticker, toy, Certificate of License Grant, Dragon Ball Z, Tamashii
01:11Nations Bandai and everything, on the side you got pictures of Piccolo and everything,
01:17on the other side, and bottom has him like that, top is like that, and on the back, Piccolo,
01:27the Proud Namekian, so yeah, not much you can really screw up with Piccolo, so that's
01:31pretty good.
01:32So yeah, and I know they did a version of him, maybe a re-release when Super Hero came
01:37out, so yeah, although I'm pretty sure it didn't come with his cape or his tunic, so,
01:44or turban, cape, tunic and turban, so yeah, so here we go, oh so yeah, so it just clips
02:01in there, huh, I guess that those are magnets, I did not know this was a thing, but yeah,
02:07that explains it kind of way.
02:11So Piccolo weighs a lot more than a lot of other S-H figures, it's even for Dragon Ball,
02:17because he has a lot of stuff, so yeah, so here we go with his cape, which you can also
02:25fold out, I guess it's full length or something like that, I'm not sure, but yeah.
02:32So then we have Piccolo right here, um, I feel like his head was turned to the side
02:37for no reason, but yeah, so you have Piccolo, just his main body right there, and you have
02:44the folded arms pose, which his folded arms look better than the original, and you have
02:49different faces for Piccolo, one with a yelling face that works with his turban, him in a
02:58frustrated or powered up pose, or facial expression, him yelling without the turban, and him that's
03:06just this face, just without the turban, if you'd prefer to pose him like that, and you
03:12have these things that are for the back of his neck that clip onto the cape, I guess,
03:19um, so yeah, and you have this, which I'm assuming goes on here, on his chest, thing
03:27for his dismembered arm, when it gets cut off, I think in the fight with Raditz, you
03:34have regular arms, and then replacement hands, if you'd rather pose him with those, so yeah.
03:42Alright, so here we go with Piccolo, this is actually really cool, so, er, actually
03:49this goes on the back here, okay, so that's kind of interesting, um, I'm trying to think,
04:04it's, I am trying to think how this is supposed to connect, so, hold on, they usually give
04:34instructions, I always forget about these, but they do give instructions, so, oh, I think,
05:02okay, cool, I don't even need, okay, I think those are for, um, when you have a stand and
05:09you want to pose him with them, with that, okay, cool, so, now we got his cape on the
05:16back of him, so we got Piccolo, which, this looks really awesome, I like the way he looks,
05:23um, in this new version, the color of green I think is really good, it might show up a
05:28little bit lighter than it actually is on camera, but is otherwise just really awesome,
05:35I do appreciate it, so yeah, his, um, his arms are weird, um, I might have to flip around
05:46this a little bit off camera, but, yeah, um, yeah, so you have that, I'm assuming his articulation
05:57is basically the same as any SA figure where, you know, like, he's putting his head in a 360,
06:04you have the regular arms, which are right here, you know, double elbow joints, 360 on the hand
06:13and the hands can go back and forth and everything, his torso can just go all the way around,
06:21in different places, you know, pretty good leg articulation, double ball joints in the knees,
06:33good feet articulation and toe joints, and of course,
06:51um, okay,
07:01uh, so yeah, so that's basically it for the, this version of the S.H. Figuarts figure of Piccolo
07:24from Dragon Ball, he doesn't really change his outfit much, so it's like,
07:31you can't get really much wrong, so yeah, so, not much else to say, so, link's in the description
07:39of this video, subscribe if you want, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
