00:00Alright, hi people, it's Jase here, I'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today of the
00:05Doctor Who Peter Davison Complete Season 2 Blu-ray Set, aka Season 21, er, no, Season
00:1220. So, yeah. And as such, this was the 20th anniversary season, and it contains the five
00:21Doctors. So yeah. This was released last year in the UK. I don't know why the BBC takes
00:28forever to release the sets over here in America, um, but whatever, I guess. So yeah.
00:39So here we go. Nice picture of Peter Davison. I think this is artwork based on photos. Doctor
00:45Who logo, Peter Davison Season 2, 9-disc set. We got the side here, and the back. I don't
00:53know why there's this sticker. I did not... I should have taken this off before I started
01:05this video, but I didn't know it was there. That's not going to come off cleanly. Anyways,
01:11so yeah. Um, it's just on the back. Peter Davison Complete Season 2, and then I'll add
01:19the episode, er, the stories in this. Arkham Infinity, Snake Dance, Modern Undead, Terminus,
01:24Enlightenment, The King's Demons, The Five Doctors, 20th Anniversary Special. All seven
01:29classic stories newly restored for Blu-ray and packed with extra material, including
01:34Five Doctors and 40th Anniversary Restoration. So they have all three cuts of The Five Doctors
01:39in this set. Um, they have the original, uh, cut of the special with recreated original
01:46effects from the parts where they inserted the location footage that was filmed on film
01:51that they remastered into HD. Uh, they have the 1995 Special Edition, which has extended
02:00scenes as well as some slightly different special effects, mainly for the time scoop.
02:07Some things in that are, in my opinion, better than the original, in terms of some things.
02:15Other things are just okay, but yeah. And then the 40th Anniversary version, which mainly
02:21replaces the time scoop effects and everything. So, yeah, just to bring them kind of up to
02:28date. But yeah, um, but it's otherwise the same as the 1983 version, but yeah, in terms
02:35of like, the cut. So, yeah. Brand new, updated special effects for Snake Dance and Enlightenment,
02:43documentaries, Look Who's Driving, brand new featurettes, In Conversation. So, yeah. HD
02:51Disc also features extensive special features previously released on DVD. Um, Peter Davison,
02:58Janet Fielding, Sarah Sutton, and Mark Strickson. Main feature, 1080p HD, uh, 6x9 and 4x3. DTS-HD
03:06Master Audio 5.1, 8 hour and 30 minutes approximately, subtitles English SDH. Special features may
03:11not be in HD and on subtitles may vary. So, yeah. So here we go with Disc 1, Ark of Infinity.
03:21Disc 2, Snake Dance. Disc 3, Modern Undead. Disc 4, Terminus. Disc 5, Enlightenment. Disc
03:296, The King's Demons. Disc 7, The Five Doctors, the TV version, or TX version as it says.
03:36Disc 8, Five Doctors 40th Anniversary Edition. And Disc 9, Five Doctors Special Edition.
03:41Now what I don't understand about this is that I feel like they could have easily fit
03:45the Five Doctors stuff easily onto one or two discs rather than three because as I was
03:52ripping these discs to my computer, they were running low on special features to include
03:58on the discs. So, yeah. And again, the 40th Anniversary version is not that, not that
04:05much different, just replaces some of the special effects stuff, um, maybe too extensively
04:11so they couldn't do the splicing thing that they have on the other discs for ones that
04:16got updated special effects, but who's to say. Anyway, so, yeah. Not much else to say,
04:24so link's in the description of my shit, subscribe if you want, and I'll see you guys in the
04:27next one.
