00:19We are going to see all of that on display today in Las Vegas.

00:28Look, I just like the fact that we're playing basketball.
00:30It's something to watch live and also the way the NBA is doing it here.
00:33You got a game at 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock and 6 o'clock along with 7.30 all out in Las Vegas
00:38at different arenas and different venues.
00:40This is why Vegas is the perfect spot there.
00:43There's so many arenas that you can do this with, that you can mix and match and put these
00:46games up.
00:47So I think this is a boom because it used to be in the past like, okay, summer leagues.
00:50This has become now big time business and a destination where people are taking time
00:55saying, you know what?
00:56I'll go to Vegas this weekend.
00:57We'll have the summer leagues going on.
00:58We'll have some fun out there and see what's what.
01:00I love the fact that the NBA has this summer league at this time of the year.

01:06Of course, we want to see the new rookies and how they perform now at this elevated

01:12And Donny, one of the main things around summer league is the rookie of the year odds and
01:16how drastically they have already moved from the end of the NBA draft about three weeks
01:21ago to where we are now as the full summer league in Sin City really begins.
01:27Alex Sar, the second overall pick to Washington, was the favorite following the draft.
01:31The number one overall selection, Zachary Reza Shea, was a tie for the second best price
01:37along with Stephon Castle at plus 750.
01:40Zach Eady had a 10 to 1 number.
01:43Eady is now the NBA rookie of the year favorite at 6 to 1.
01:49I still don't know if it's public perception, maybe the most recognizable name from the
01:55college ranks in this year's NBA draft class, or if people actually believe that Zach Eady
02:02is going to and can win the NBA rookie of the year award.
02:06But for whatever reason, Eady now at 6 to 1 in front of both Sar and Reza Shea.
02:12Now Reza Shea and Sar, correct me if I'm wrong, they haven't played any summer league action
02:16yet, is that correct?
02:17We have not seen them yet.

02:20Yeah, we're going to get that instant reaction right away, similar to what you saw from Zach
02:25Eady.
02:26Oh my goodness, we didn't know Zach Eady, who was a multiple time, I believe, national
02:28player of the year, we didn't know he could play and be average.
02:31Come on now, the guy's going to be able to have his good games here.
02:34Now the fact's going to come in where we were expectations on Webanyama last year, it's
02:37got so out of control in game number one, the guy stinks, he's impossible, he's never
02:41going to be able to make it, and to play maybe one of those generational talents that we
02:45find.
02:46I'm interested to see when these two kids get on the court, what that instant reaction
02:50is going to be on Twitter and social media, and if that's going to be enough to push some
02:53of those numbers around further.
