00:00I'm really excited, it's a very emotional day I think, definitely, yeah.
00:05I started the course in September 2020 and then a few weeks later I contracted Covid-19
00:11and I ended up in Preston's ICU for five weeks. I had to be intubated twice and was in a coma for
00:20a month because of all the complications of Covid. So obviously after all that I became
00:27quite unwell so I had to take some time out of uni, but I decided to come back because I wanted
00:32to help others that have been in a similar situation for me and obviously I have that
00:37empathy now, I've been in that situation, so I just put all my efforts into working hard and
00:43getting my degree. To graduate with a first, it's been really emotional and overwhelming.
00:51I'm really pleased with how well I've done and all that hard work that I've done and all the
00:56focus I've put into the degrees have been worth it.
