00:41Now, it is reported that the Warriors have a serious pick-heavy offer in.
00:45Part of the problem is the Warriors don't have as many picks as some of the other teams that
00:48might be bidding for Laurie Marconin.
00:49But I do think the Warriors are serious about wanting to bring him in.
00:52They've said all offseason they plan on making major moves.
00:55Well, I think those three players you saw are good moves.
00:57They're ancillary pieces.
00:59They need a key piece.
01:00They need a secondary star to go alongside Steph Curry.
01:04I love Laurie Marconin because you're talking about a seven-footer on a team that is undersized
01:08who can shoot the three ball on a team that wants to spread the floor.
01:12Right now, the Warriors have Kavon Looney and Draymond Green starting in their front court.
01:16That's a big problem because you don't have to guard those two.
01:19They're not offensive threats.
01:21Although I will say Draymond Green shot his best three-point shooting percentage of his
01:24career this past season, 40%.
01:26So he was actually good for at least one three a game.
01:29But generally, because Kavon Looney and Draymond Green aren't elite attacking players,
01:34it allows defenses to collapse.
01:35They can double-team other places.
01:37And it just creates more clogged in the lane.
01:39And it just creates more issues for the Warriors, tougher for other guys to get open.
01:42So I think adding a Laurie Marconin would be a great addition for this Golden State
01:46Warriors team.
01:47Will it happen?
01:48That's the big question because there were reports out in the Paul George discussions
01:52that the Warriors were unwilling to deal Jonathan Kaminga.
01:55And that's going to be the big sticking point.
01:57Is this Jazz team set on bringing in Jonathan Kaminga?
02:00Is that going to be the thing that determines whether this deal goes on or not?
02:04And that's something a lot of folks in the media and the fan base are split on.
