Rob Burrow funeral plans

Details of Rob Burrow's funeral this Sunday 7th July have been confirmed.

00:00Plans for the funeral of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow have been confirmed, with the service

00:06set to take place on Sunday the 7th of July. The funeral will be for invited guests only,

00:12but members of the public are invited to stand on the roadside from 1pm to pay their respects

00:17as the cortege makes its way to Pontefract crematorium. The cortege will travel along

00:22the A656 Park Road, passing Xscape Yorkshire as it travels towards the M62 junction and

00:29continues along the A639 towards Pontefract, passing Pontefract Racecourse and turning

00:34onto Park Lane near Pontefract Tanshelf train station. The cortege will follow along Acton

00:41Lane and Common Side Lane towards Featherstone and onto Pontefract Lane, where members of

00:46the public are to leave this part of the journey so the family can have a few moments before

00:50arriving at the crematorium. Rob's family have asked that in lieu of flowers, donations

00:55can be made to the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.
