00:02Leeds Rhinos legend Ryan Hall has said there is still plenty of work to do
00:08for the motor neurons disease community as the club prepares to honour the late Rob Burrow
00:14during his annual awareness fixture.
00:18Hall, who played alongside Burrow between 2007 and 2017,
00:23visited the Centre for Motor Neuron Disease at Seacroft Hospital
00:28ahead of the Rhinos' clash with Hull KR at Headingley Stadium on the 26th of June.
00:36Burrow, who died from motor neurone disease in 2024 at the age of just 31,
00:42inspired a nationwide movement to raise awareness and funding for the condition,
00:47especially in the rugby league.
00:49The Centre, which opened in November, stands as a lasting part of his legacy.
00:57Even though Rob has passed and the Centre is up and running,
01:01it doesn't mean the job is over.
01:04Those were the words of Hull.
01:06Leeds will wear a special shirt featuring the blue cornflower designed by artist Kath Muir,
01:14who lives with motor neurone disease,
01:16with proceeds supporting the Centre's continued work
01:20to try and help those suffering with the disease.
