The team behind the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon have confirmed the event is set to return on Sunday 10th May 2026 with the continuation of two hugely popular additions.

00:00Solidifying itself in the Leeds Annual Major Event Calendar,
00:05the team behind the Robborrow Leeds Marathon have confirmed the weekend of running will be back across the city on Sunday 10th May 2026.
00:16The aim has always been to bring people together for a powerful weekend of reflection and support,
00:22and it continues to raise funds for MND Research and the Robborrow Centre for MND in Seacroft.
00:28Thousands of runners, volunteers and supporters will come together for a shared cause,
00:34with the main race starting and finishing at AMT Headingley Stadium, where Robborrow made so many memories during his rugby career.
00:43The marathon stands as a tribute to him and to the tireless work of his wife Lindsay,
00:48and his close friend Kevin Sinfield, who've both done so much to keep his story and the fight against MND front and centre.
00:56The day before the marathon is Saturday 9th May, which will see the return of the MND Mile at Leeds Beckett University,
01:05offering a powerful moment of reflection, solidarity and action as people of all ages and backgrounds come together to walk a mile
01:13in honour of those affected by motor neurone disease.
01:16From families walking for loved ones to supporters celebrating the legacy of Robborrow,
01:22the event represents the beating heart of the marathon weekend.
01:26The relay is also set to return, where teams of seven will take on the marathon distance,
01:31handing over at set points along the route.
01:34Friends, families and colleagues become part of the day without needing to run the whole 26.2 miles solo,
01:40triumphing as a collective.
