01:53We wanted guys who are great long iron players and we wanted a little bit around the green

02:01scrap all of that once I got here Monday and I saw the condition of the golf course and how hard it is and how
02:07Firm it is and what's really going on down here and how burnt out it is
02:11There's gonna be guys that hit the ball great off the tee and still end up in the weeds
02:15And there's gonna be guys to hit the ball great on approach. I walked with Scotty this morning
02:18He didn't approach on number two. It couldn't have been any better from over 200 yards
02:22He landed the ball 10 feet from the hole and it rolled off the green
02:25So if all these factors come into play, it basically becomes a chipping contest amongst the whole green
02:31Amongst the whole field. I'm sorry. So it's it's a putting and a chipping contest
02:35and for me
02:36I'm going to take the guys that are the best at that right now in the world
02:40Because you can be a great driver
02:41But at some point you're going in the wire grass and from there you're gonna punch it down by the green chip on try to
02:47Save par. So if you're a great driver and you're not a great chipper, I don't need you and the same thing goes for approach
02:52I mean you can throw those other skills out the window. Just get it down there near the hole and then score
