00:00 An island resort has been hit with a RM25,000 fine by the Terengganu government for organising

00:10 The state government also prohibited Summer Bay Resort from hosting similar events in
00:14 the future, according to its news portal TRDI News.
00:18 Tourism, Culture, Environment and Climate Change Committee Chairman Razali Idris said
00:23 the party hosted on May 20 violated subsection 6(1) of the Terengganu Entertainment and Places
00:29 of Entertainment Enactment 2002.
00:32 The Presatu Information Chief said the resort breached many regulations including ethics,
00:36 SOPs and Muslim-friendly conduct in the state.
00:40 Razali also said the resort had a full licence to operate and could continue to do so, but
00:44 that the offence still needed to be addressed.
00:47 He said the resort would be fined soon by the authorities and further investigations
00:51 into other possible offences on the island will be conducted.
00:56 According to social media postings, the Aloha party featured several female DJs and a dance
