00:03 The Terengganu government has launched an investigation

00:08 organised by a resort on Pulau Langtengah last Monday.

00:12 Tourism, Culture, Environment and Climate Change Committee Chairman,

00:15 Razali Idris, said the investigation would determine

00:18 if the organisers had violated local guidelines

00:21 and whether the necessary permits were obtained.

00:25 Razali was commenting on videos being shared on social media

00:28 showing attendees dancing at the party

00:30 and women dressed in bikinis, Utusan Malaysia reported.

00:35 He said the resort owner would be summoned

00:37 to give an explanation of the event tomorrow

00:39 which would be attended by the Terengganu Religious Department

00:42 and the Mayor of Kuala Terengganu.

00:44 He also urged members of the public

00:46 to come forward and provide information on the party.
