00:50 Asalamu Alaikum, dear viewers, you are watching the program "Deen o Khawateen"
00:53 and I am Sahar Azam.
00:55 Dear viewers, what is our topic for today in "Deen o Khawateen"?
00:58 Dear viewers, today our topic is the rules of Shab-e-Baraat.
01:00 You know that after two days we will definitely get this holy night, this big night.
01:05 So, in this context, we have kept our topic of the program today.
01:08 In which we will try to know what is its reality?
01:11 And then what is the status of the Shari'ah of Ziyarat-e-Qaboor?
01:14 And we will include the questions related to this in the program.
01:17 To answer these questions, the panel with us is moving towards their guests.
01:22 My first guest, you all definitely listen to her conversation with great interest.
01:27 My sisters understand it.
01:28 With me is Rabia Khan.
01:30 Asalamu Alaikum Rabia.
01:31 Walaikum Assalam.
01:32 How are you?
01:33 Alhamdulillah.
01:34 Yes, in the program, my second scholar is with me.
01:37 Here in the program, to answer our questions, her name is Shiri Khan.
01:41 Asalamu Alaikum.
01:42 Walaikum Assalam.
01:43 How are you?
01:44 Alhamdulillah.
01:45 I welcome you all.
01:46 On the B, we have with us, Mufti Muhammad Ahsan Naveed.
01:49 I also greet him.
01:51 Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi.
01:52 Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullahi.
01:54 Mufti Sahib, permission is granted.
01:55 We will take the program forward.
01:56 Yes, Bismillah.
01:57 My first question, Rabia Khan, I will come to you.
02:00 And when we talk about Shab-e-Buraat, we see that if we look at it from the cultural and religious point of view,
02:06 then it is very important.
02:07 So, if we talk about its reality, then if you want to shed light on it.
02:11 (Recites in Arabic)
02:15 Look, Buraat means salvation.
02:17 And Shab-e-Buraat means the night of salvation.
02:19 This is the night which according to some scholars, is mentioned in Surah Dukh Khan,
02:24 Ayat number 3 to 4, which is the word that is related to the night of blessings.
02:28 So, some scholars think that this verse is related to Shab-e-Muraat.
02:32 And some scholars say that no, this verse is related to Shab-e-Buraat.
02:35 Anyway, this is the night of blessings.
02:38 (Recites in Arabic)
02:47 As Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (R.A) says that Allah the Almighty,
02:52 Huzoor (A.S) said that Allah the Almighty,
02:55 is the one who is responsible for the death of the creature and forgives their sins.
03:02 Similarly, there is a narration from Hazrat Aisha (R.A) that Huzoor (A.S) said that
03:08 Allah the Almighty, is the one who is responsible for the death of the creature and forgives their sins.
03:13 And more than the hair of the goats of Bani Qalb, Allah the Almighty forgives the sins of His creation.
03:20 So, the blessings of this night are proven from the Quran and Hadith.
03:25 And if you see the issue of Talaf in the Quran, the blessings of this night are also present in the Hadith.
03:32 Especially in this night, because it is the Sunnah of the Prophets,
03:38 that in any night when there is a little doubt of the blessings of Allah the Almighty,
03:42 then they make those nights special with worship.
03:45 So, they do not miss any opportunity in which Allah the Almighty forgives,
03:50 and they have a belief in the blessings of Allah the Almighty.
03:53 And Allah the Almighty says that, "Whatever my servant believes in me, I am with him."
03:57 So, if we have the blessings of Allah the Almighty,
03:59 then even in normal nights, even in other days, there is no denial of the worship.
04:04 But these are the bonus offers.
04:06 Women must understand very well that there are sales,
04:09 and if there are bonuses, then even a little information is available.
04:12 So, even if you have all the air available, but the fun of the sale is different.
04:16 So, in the same way, Allah the Almighty has also given golden opportunities,
04:20 that you have a whole year of work, you can do special worship or not.
04:25 Anyway, Allah the Almighty has given golden opportunities to His servants
04:30 in a few nights throughout the year, that you do worship in it.
04:33 There is no denial of this, that you do it all year.
04:36 But do worship on them too.
04:38 Seek forgiveness and forgiveness from Allah the Almighty for yourself too.
04:41 For your family members too, especially parents, relatives,
04:45 and for the entire Ummah of Muhammad (pbuh) too,
04:49 you should ask for the blessings of Allah the Almighty.
04:53 Wow, you answered very well.
04:55 It is obvious that we know the rules of Qayam-ul-Lail, that there are many excellences.
04:59 And when you heard about Shab-e-Baraat,
05:01 that it is also proven from the hadith,
05:03 and you also referred to the verses of the Holy Quran.
05:05 I will go to you, Sheeran Khan, tell me,
05:07 that we see that in Shab-e-Baraat, there is a lot of preparation to go to the graveyard.
05:12 So, tell me in this regard,
05:14 if I want to know the status of Ziyarat-e-Qaboor, what will you say?
05:17 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
05:19 See, the excellence of this night is proven from our elders.
05:22 And our companions, Tabain, Taba, Tabain,
05:24 and the Aqabirin who are passing through their doors,
05:27 they have also taken advantage of the excellence of this night.
05:30 They have kept fasts, and have established worship in the same way.
05:33 And they have achieved the work and knowledge of religion.
05:36 They have reached people.
05:38 Along with this, going to the graveyard is also proven.
05:40 And if we talk about the hadith,
05:42 then this is the Sunnat-e-Mustahabba,
05:45 that the Prophet (pbuh)
05:47 had visited the graveyard, Jannat-ul-Baqi, that night.
05:52 And the hadith of Hazrat Aisha-e-Siddiqa,
05:54 that is, the blessed hadith,
05:55 she says that when she did not find the Prophet (pbuh)
05:58 at the resting place that night,
06:00 she went out, and she saw that the Prophet (pbuh)
06:03 was visiting Jannat-ul-Baqi.
06:05 And then there is another narration,
06:07 that the Prophet (pbuh)
06:09 has stated,
06:11 that Allah Almighty,
06:13 this night,
06:15 the goats of the tribe of Bani Qalb,
06:17 which the sister just mentioned,
06:19 according to the hair of those goats,
06:21 the sins of the many sinners,
06:24 Allah Almighty forgives them.
06:26 So, going to the graveyard,
06:28 this night is the Sunnat-e-Mustahabba,
06:30 that is, you can visit from the Maghrib,
06:32 Fajr, and before that.
06:34 And if someone goes in the day,
06:36 then he has to go to the graveyard.
06:38 Similarly, our religion,
06:39 that is, Shariah,
06:40 is Sunnat,
06:41 so you can visit in the day as well.
06:43 But here the problem is that,
06:45 to make going to the graveyard real,
06:47 that is, to understand that if you do not go to the graveyard,
06:49 then you will not get reward.
06:50 Make it compulsory.
06:51 Make it compulsory,
06:52 and if someone does not go,
06:53 then the chain of taans and taana starts on him,
06:55 that you did not go to the graveyard.
06:57 So, this is done with the heart,
06:59 and if you have a good intention,
07:00 then you get reward for it.
07:01 And by forcing someone,
07:02 Shariah completely prohibits it.
07:04 You make a request,
07:05 you give the order of coming,
07:06 people go,
07:07 so it is okay, give it to the family.
07:08 If they do not go,
07:09 then they will be humiliated,
07:11 a little humiliation is not to be made.
07:13 Yes, they will say that they did not do this work.
07:15 So, Shireen Khan answered in great detail in this regard.
07:18 Mufti sahib, I will come to you,
07:20 would you like to add something more in this regard?
07:23 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
07:24 Peace be upon the Beloved,
07:25 the Most High,
07:26 His Companions and His Blessings.
07:28 Shab-e-Bara'at is a blessed night.
07:31 First, I will explain about its pronunciation.
07:34 This word is Shab-e-Bara'at and Shab-e-Bara'at,
07:38 without Hamza, both are correct.
07:40 Bara'at with Hamza,
07:42 and Bara'at without Hamza,
07:44 both are correct.
07:45 Shab-e-Bara'at is also correct,
07:46 Shab-e-Bara'at is also correct.
07:48 And when Shab-e-Bara'at is said,
07:50 then the meaning of Bara'at is salvation.
07:53 The word of salvation is with the force of the sun,
07:56 people keep saying it wrongly,
07:58 with the force of the sun,
07:59 it is salvation.
08:00 The correct word is salvation with the force of the sun.
08:02 JazakAllah.
08:03 So, this Shab-e-Bara'at,
08:05 in Arabic, it is also called Laylat-ul-Bara'a,
08:07 there are many names.
08:08 So, in the same way,
08:09 in Urdu and Farsi,
08:10 Shab-e-Bara'at is also called,
08:11 meaning the night of forgiveness,
08:13 the night of getting forgiveness.
08:15 And when we say Bara'at,
08:16 like in our language,
08:17 the word that is used is Shab-e-Bara'at,
08:19 without Hamza.
08:20 So, this is also correct.
08:21 And this is not a light version of Bara'at,
08:24 because some people think that
08:25 the Hindi word, Bara'at,
08:26 is a light version of it,
08:27 so they are contradicting it
08:29 and saying that Shab-e-Bara'at is wrong,
08:31 Shab-e-Bara'at is correct.
08:33 So, it is not like that,
08:34 Shab-e-Bara'at is also correct,
08:35 it is not from Bara'at,
08:37 but Bara'at is a Hindi word,
08:39 Bara'at is a Farsi word itself,
08:41 without Hamza.
08:42 So, Bara'at means,
08:43 in Farsi, part,
08:44 fortune,
08:45 fate.
08:46 So, because in this night,
08:47 the angels,
08:48 by the command of God,
08:49 calculate,
08:50 according to one saying,
08:51 the livelihood of the people,
08:52 the fortune,
08:53 the name of deeds,
08:54 so, in that context,
08:55 it is called Shab-e-Bara'at,
08:57 in Farsi,
08:58 and in Urdu,
08:59 it is used in Farsi only.
09:00 So, whether it is called Shab-e-Bara'at,
09:03 or Shab-e-Bara'at,
09:04 both are correct,
09:05 and like both,
09:06 its excellence is evident
09:07 from its name.
09:08 It is the night of salvation,
09:09 and that night too.
09:11 The rest,
09:12 the verse of Surah Dukhan,
09:13 there are two sayings about the verse of Surah Dukhan,
09:15 one is of Shab-e-Bara'at,
09:17 and one is of Shab-e-Qadr.
09:19 There is no doubt about Shab-e-Miraj,
09:22 but there is a difference between Shab-e-Qadr
09:24 and Shab-e-Bara'at.
09:25 And both are the sayings of the scholars,
09:27 and even if Shab-e-Bara'at is not meant,
09:29 even then,
09:30 since it is proven from the Hadith,
09:31 so, it is the night of blessing.
09:33 It is the night of blessing,
09:34 and one should make arrangements for worship in this night.
09:36 The rest is going to the graveyard,
09:38 so, going to the graveyard in Shab-e-Bara'at
09:40 is permissible,
09:41 it is permissible,
09:42 and if it is with good intention,
09:43 and if it is kept within the limits of Shari'ah,
09:45 then it will be accepted,
09:46 but it is not Sunnah.
09:47 Because to declare it as Sunnah,
09:49 there is a description of the principles,
09:51 that it is Ta'dud Darkar,
09:53 if any action is done by the government,
09:55 once or twice,
09:56 then it is not called Sunnah.
09:58 Ta'dud Darkar is done a few times,
10:00 if it is done repeatedly,
10:01 then it is called Sunnah.
10:03 So, the application of Sunnah,
10:04 will not be on this,
10:05 according to the juristic terminology.
10:07 If it is with good intention,
10:09 then it is permissible,
10:10 when it is kept within the limits of Shari'ah.
10:12 But this is for men,
10:14 women,
10:15 at night,
10:16 we do not allow them to go to the graveyard.
10:19 Not only at night,
10:21 but during the day also,
10:22 because there are many such things,
10:24 because of which,
10:25 wisdom is in this,
10:26 and the protection is in this,
10:27 that women should not go to the graveyard.
10:29 Scholars are convinced of Jawaaz,
10:31 that women should go during the day,
10:33 but the conditions in which Jawaaz is there,
10:35 that is Muqayyat Jawaaz.
10:36 So, usually,
10:37 the problems are more,
10:39 so to avoid those problems,
10:40 the protection is in this,
10:41 that women should be saved during the day,
10:42 and at night,
10:43 at night,
10:44 especially,
10:45 women should not go.
10:46 For men,
10:47 that if men go to the graveyard at night,
10:49 for Ibrahim,
10:50 and if they do Tilawat-e-Kalaam-e-Masjid,
10:52 then there is no problem in this.
10:54 There is no problem in this.
10:56 Okay,
10:57 the caller is also with us,
10:58 Mufti Sahab,
10:59 may I have your permission.
11:00 Assalam-o-Alaikum,
11:01 Wa Rahmatullah.
11:02 Assalam-o-Alaikum.
11:03 Wa Alaikum-o-Alaikum,
11:04 Assalam,
11:05 who is with me?
11:06 I am talking from Lahore.
11:07 Yes,
11:08 tell me the question.
11:09 My first question is,
11:10 that after the six Nafl,
11:12 Surah Yasin,
11:13 which is recited,
11:14 should we recite that,
11:15 or should we recite Qul Wallah also?
11:16 Okay,
11:17 my second question is,
11:18 that there was a gold bag,
11:19 which was given to the non-heirs,
11:20 instead of the heir,
11:21 by mistake.
11:22 Now,
11:23 the people who received it,
11:24 want to give it to the heir,
11:25 so will they be given gold,
11:26 or will they be given money,
11:27 according to the current price?
11:28 Okay,
11:29 my sister,
11:30 tell me.
11:31 They are good people,
11:32 so it is easier to distribute the money,
11:33 and it is difficult to distribute the gold.
11:34 Okay,
11:35 my sister,
11:36 tell me,
11:37 what is the difference between gold and gold?
11:38 Gold is more expensive,
11:39 and gold is more expensive.
11:40 Okay,
11:41 my sister,
11:42 tell me,
11:43 what is the difference between gold and gold?
11:44 Gold is more expensive,
11:45 and gold is more expensive.
11:46 Okay,
11:47 my sister,
11:48 I understood your question.
11:49 I will definitely answer it,
11:50 from Mufti Sahib.
11:51 One more caller is with me.
11:52 Salam Alaikum Warahmatullah.
11:53 Walaikum Assalam Warahmatullah.
11:54 Yes,
11:55 who is this?
11:56 My first question is,
11:57 that if Zohr or Isha,
11:58 while reciting four rakat of Surah Al-Furqan,
11:59 after reciting Qadr,
12:00 you forget to recite the fifth rakat,
12:01 then if he recites one more rakat,
12:02 then will he have to perform
12:03 the Sajdah at the end?
12:04 Okay.
12:05 And will the last two rakats,
12:06 after reciting Surah Al-Furqan,
12:07 become the two sumits?
12:08 Okay.
12:09 My second question is,
12:11 that if someone has old clothes,
12:12 old shoes,
12:13 or old decoration pieces,
12:14 then will their value be trusted
12:15 in terms of Zakat's payment
12:16 or in terms of collection?
12:17 Okay,
12:18 my sister,
12:19 I have received both your questions.
12:20 I will definitely answer
12:21 your questions from Mufti Sahib.
12:22 Viewers,
12:23 you are watching the program,
12:24 Deen o Qawateen,
12:25 but for now,
12:26 we are going to take a short break.
12:27 Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.
12:28 You are watching the program,
12:29 Deen o Qawateen,
12:30 and we are going to take a short break.
12:31 Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.
12:32 You are watching the program,
12:33 Deen o Qawateen,
12:34 and we are going to take a short break.
12:35 We are going to take a short break.
12:36 Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.
12:38 You are watching the program,
12:39 Deen o Qawateen,
12:40 and we are going to talk about
12:41 a very important topic today,
12:42 Shab-e-Baraat.
12:43 Shab-e-Baraat,
12:44 as Mufti Sahib has also said,
12:45 both the words are correct.
12:46 I will take more questions
12:47 from my scholars.
12:48 We were talking about
12:49 going to the graveyard.
12:50 And as men obviously
12:51 want to do Isaal-e-Sawab,
12:52 similarly,
12:53 women also obviously
12:54 want to go to the graveyard
12:55 for their deceased.
12:56 If they want to go to the graveyard,
12:57 then you tell me,
12:58 what is the Shariah that
12:59 is given in the Shariah?
13:00 In the name of Allah,
13:01 the most merciful,
13:02 the most merciful.
13:03 See, visiting the grave
13:04 and going to the grave
13:05 is a mandatory
13:06 act for men or women.
13:07 And a mandatory act
13:08 for men is that
13:09 they should go.
13:10 They should go,
13:11 whether it is their
13:12 family members
13:13 or their graves,
13:14 or they should visit
13:15 them in addition to this.
13:16 But for women,
13:17 there are many precautions
13:18 that are required.
13:19 Like going in a veil,
13:20 going with a mehrim,
13:21 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:22 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:23 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:24 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:25 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:26 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:27 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:28 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:29 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:30 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:31 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:32 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:33 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:34 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:35 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:36 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:37 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:38 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:39 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:40 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:41 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:42 going with a shab-e-sawab,
13:43 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:09 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:16 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:17 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:18 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:19 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:20 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:21 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:22 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:23 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:24 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:25 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:26 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:27 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:28 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:29 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:30 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:31 going with a shab-e-sawab,
14:59 going with a shab-e-sawab,
15:01 going with a shab-e-sawab,
15:02 going with a shab-e-sawab,
15:03 going with a shab-e-sawab,
