00:00 Welcome to Drivespark, I'm Vedant Johari and Kinetic Greed has just launched the older
00:10 version of the Luna, now called the eLuna.
00:13 So let me take you around the scooter up close and show you what all we get in this new electric
00:18 scooter.
00:19 So this is the all new eLuna and starting off with the design of this new electric scooter,
00:25 as you can see we get this squarish front headlamp with a circular light and two very
00:32 classic indicators that we've seen on older motorcycles over there.
00:36 And at the front, we get 16 inch wheels, spoke wheels and this again just brings back the
00:41 old ONA TNE and showcasing the whole golden aspect of this electric scooter.
00:46 At the front, we get these two flash guards which also work as head protectors on either
00:52 side and we get this lovely nice piano black finish on the dome of the headlamp on your
00:58 front mudguard and in all sorts of places, all over the bike.
01:02 As you can see, we get this flattened footboard that we have and the whole silhouette as you
01:08 can see is what we see on the older Luna.
01:11 This sort of squarish design in the front with the flattened footboard and very sharp
01:16 guts, not something that blends into another.
01:20 We get the Luna badge over here and at the front, this sort of wider footboard, this
01:27 very classic olden style digital instrument cluster, I mean the digital being the only
01:32 modern aspect in it, but the whole cluster as you can see is very, it's a very olden
01:38 design, just bringing out the whole older Luna TNE.
01:43 Then we get these really nice grips that we see in the other kinetic green scooters.
01:49 We get a switch to play around over here, again very classic side view mirrors that
01:57 we see on older scooters.
02:00 Again they've just brought in all of this to keep the whole Luna TNE alive.
02:05 And on the other side of the handlebar, we have light toggle switches, we have passing
02:12 lights over here, we have indicators, a horn and you have a rear brake on the left and
02:18 a front brake on the right.
02:20 Then moving on we get a split style seat that almost can be seen as one single style seat.
02:25 Also the rear seat can be put inside for if you want to keep storage on the rear and carry
02:30 anything at the back.
02:32 Also come to storage in the front, we can also add storage coming out from here, like
02:38 a small box or something again to make it as convenient as possible.
02:43 Then we also get a hook over here to keep whatever storage items you need.
02:47 We get these two foot pegs kept on the side.
02:51 Now this is again to bring back the whole older Luna how that was used as a booklet
02:56 so you could cycle on it.
02:57 But here instead of using the whole cycling aspect, you can just keep your own pegs there.
03:02 Then at the back, also the whole chassis that we have is an exposed chassis as we can see
03:07 and these are the colour options that we get.
03:08 So it's not really the whole scooter that changes the colour, it's just the chassis
03:12 that changes.
03:13 Right now I can show you the red and the blue over there, but you also get five colour options,
03:18 I'll come to that in some time.
03:20 Now moving on from the side to the rear, we get a grab rail over here, we get the kinetic
03:26 beam barging over here, the Luna barging at the rear.
03:29 Again the same indicators that we see on the front, we get at the rear, these very bold
03:34 and hard to miss indicators.
03:36 We get this sort of oval-ish rear lamp and a reflector right at the bottom.
03:42 At the rear also we get a 16-inch wheel and this comes with a chain drive as you can see.
03:47 Also we get a twin rear shock at the back and we have placed for your pillion to keep
03:53 their feet over there.
03:54 Now coming to the performance of the whole battery aspect, well this is a 2 kilowatt
03:59 battery and can put out 2.2 kilowatts of power.
04:04 Now the range that we get on this is 110 kilometres with a top speed of 50 kilometres per hour.
04:10 Now the eLuna has been designed for the general public and for most newer electric two wheelers,
04:19 the monthly expenditure including your EMI comes to around 6,500 rupees.
04:24 But for the eLuna it's brought down to 2,500 rupees and that is because they have brought
04:29 down the price of this tremendously.
04:32 I'll come to that in a bit.
04:33 And on top of that, the running cost of this is very, very little.
04:38 Electric vehicles as we know don't have a lot of running costs.
04:40 So now what all colour options do we get on the eLuna?
04:44 Well as I said, this is the red, that's the blue and we get another three colour options.
04:49 That's a green, yellow and a full black eLuna.
04:53 Now for me the blue and the red really stand out.
04:57 The red on black has always been my favourite contrast so that's something I really like
05:01 in this.
05:02 Now coming to the price point of the eLuna.
05:05 Basically you get this at an ex-showroom price of rupees 69,990 and that is just your
05:11 introductory price.
05:13 Now an electric vehicle being priced under the 90,000 mark is something we haven't seen
05:19 in the market.
05:20 So this being priced at 69,990, it really shows Kinetic Green's initiative to actually
05:24 tackling the whole public and getting a vehicle out for them.
05:28 So let us know what you think of the eLuna down in the comments section below.
05:33 My name is Vedant Jhauri, signing out.
