00:00 The family of Renée Mitchell are still in shock over her tragic demise, but have dismissed speculation and the old talk on social media that she might have been pushed off a cliff.
00:09 Late Saturday night, Mitchell went along the cliffside to urinate and fell over the edge of the San Fernando Hill.
00:15 She was attending the Illusion's Fete with her boyfriend, Peter Ribeiro, when tragedy struck.
00:20 Police say Ribeiro raised an alarm after hearing her scream out for help.
00:24 Her sister, Damielle Cyrus, who spoke with the Express earlier today, said as far as she knew, Mitchell had no problems and had a good relationship with her boyfriend.
00:33 She said the couple had their first child a year ago and described them as a very happy couple together.
00:39 She said every time she saw them, they were always laughing and often went out together.
00:43 Cyrus said her sister and Peter had been together for nine years and were devoted parents.
00:48 She described Peter as someone always calm and collected.
00:52 She said even when he called to speak with them on Sunday morning, he was also calm in spite of the tragedy.
00:58 Cyrus said her sister was a devoted mother to her one-year-old son and her 16-year-old son from a previous relationship.
01:05 She said her sister was also academically inclined and also into sports, fitness and playing mass.
01:11 Cyrus said that there should be better safety measures in place on the San Fernando Hill location when events of this nature are being held.
