Snow, rain and wind have caused hundreds of thousands of power outages up and down the East Coast.

00:00 Why is this happening? Look at this low pressure system just funneling strong winds. We'll continue
00:04 to see those into tonight with an AccuWeather local storm max of 90 miles an hour. I've got
00:08 saturated ground because of the flooding conditions and then I've got really strong
00:12 winds that's going to make for power outages because transformers, trees come down on power
00:17 lines. And look in Pennsylvania 150,000 plus people without power. New York 90,000 people
00:24 plus without power and then Virginia 55,000 plus people without power. And into tomorrow it doesn't
00:30 stop. Look portions of Long Island and the coast of New England looking at widespread power outages.
00:36 Of course northern New York into western New York and western Pennsylvania widespread and then
00:40 regional. All the places you're seeing along that I-95 corridor in the orange. Speaking of the I-95
00:46 corridor this is going to be treacherous travel tomorrow. They always say turn around don't drown.
00:53 I'm gonna say turn around or do not spend thousands of dollars in unnecessary car repairs. You've got
00:59 flooded roadways and highways still tomorrow. Power outages and of course down trees that's
01:05 going to make roads impassable. Please don't try it. I just want to make sure you at home are going
01:10 to be safe. Another one more snow and wintry mixed precipitation and then on top of that rain for
01:15 Wednesday. Thursday you're going to get another shot of snow with some lake enhancement on top
01:20 of that. It's going past the Great Lakes. Get ready for this because I just gave you a lot.
01:25 Here's some more. Thursday night into Saturday another winter storm. You know I did some
01:32 looking ahead it's kind of like we're locked into that pattern seven day pattern again.
