00:00Allie, I heard you have the goggles on.
00:01Yeah.
00:05Yeah, how could you not have the goggles on on a day like today?
00:08And talk about those blizzard conditions.
00:10I mean, guys, this is just wild.
00:12Okay, there's no doubt very unsafe for you to be on those roadways.
00:16In fact, visibility is near zero out on those roads.
00:20You can take a look in the distance behind me here.
00:22It is pure darkness.
00:23The only thing that we're seeing at the moment is going to be the light
00:27that's going to be somewhat peeking through up above
00:30now that we're getting into the morning hours here.
00:33But transmissions blew hours ago at this point.
00:36We haven't seen power in town here in a number of hours.
00:40Well, I got a break for one second here.
00:42I do have an anemometer with me.
00:44Basically, what this is going to do is read some of those wind gusts for us,
00:48although I do know that we've seen at least, at the very minimum,
00:5250-mile-an-hour wind gusts here in town.
00:55Right now, anemometer, if I can even look at it.
00:58One second, guys.
01:0246-mile-an-hour wind gusts.
01:04And I wouldn't even call that a wind gust.
01:06That is straight wind blowing right towards me.
01:09I mean, it really is just wild.
01:10I am going to turn my back just for a second here.
01:14I'm not being overdramatic.
01:15I want to explain to you the conditions that we are seeing right now.
01:20I mean, it's to the point where if I were to lean back like this, look at this.
01:25That is the wind holding my body up.
01:28I mean, that's sick.
01:29That is sick conditions, guys, what we're dealing with at the moment here.
01:33Now, we're talking about just the snow accumulation
01:37and how quickly this is going to come in here.
01:40One to three inches of snow accumulation per hour here.
01:43And we're still looking on track, like Bernie, Ari, you've been mentioning the last couple of days.
01:4718 to 24 inches of snowfall here in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
01:53And while I think that it's going to be some time before we see numbers like that,
01:58certainly this is just ongoing at this point.
02:01I mean, it really, really is wild what we are seeing here.
02:05I mean, I can't get over this.
02:07Now, in terms of the type of snow, I mean, Bernie, Ari, you guys have been absolutely spot on.
02:12We were talking about this is certainly not going to be that picture-perfect, picturesque type of snow
02:19where it was going to be fluffy.
02:20Oh, no.
02:21Oh, no.
02:22We are talking in conditions like this more so that wet, heavy snow that when it hits your face,
02:29it's just going to hurt.
02:30And let me tell you, guys, it hurts right now.
02:34One second.
02:35Let me get my footing.
02:38Wild here.
02:39You know, I had Bernie send me a text talking about these blizzard conditions.
02:44Again, I just want to show you how legitimate this is.
02:47If I were to literally push my body this way, the wind literally is just pummeling onto my body here.
02:54Again, you're talking about the harbor just beyond my shoulder here.
02:58I mean, conditions really are just incredibly rough.
03:02I think that's all I got for you.
03:04I think I need to send it back to you, Bernie and Ari, right now.
03:06I need a few seconds to kind of get back into the car and warm up.
03:10We've got a long couple of hours ahead because we have to think of it really in between 9 o
03:15'clock
03:15and then about 3 o'clock later on this afternoon.
03:18So we've got a long way to go before this thing is over.
03:21Woo, yeah, it looks like hurricane coverage out there, but then you add the slippery conditions
03:24and she said it was sick.
03:26I think wicked is the word she needs to use in that part of the country, right?
03:30Yeah, wicked, yeah.
03:31By the way, at the airport, just so you know, 55 mile per hour wind gusts at the airport right
03:37now.
03:37Allie, get safe here.
03:38Oh my goodness.
03:39Yes.
