00:15with any snow holes today let me tell you it is swirling around here it is like a snow globe

00:19have been getting hammered by these strong winds heavy snow and it's not just heavy snow it's very
00:24wet snow now look at these buildings everything here in this little town of long uh branch new
00:30jersey just covered in this icy snow if you take a look back here at this post you can see
00:36you can
00:36tell which direction the wind's coming from just caked on hard ice snow here everywhere uh there
00:43are crews trying to clean up here they've been plowing these roadways here and this little
00:46roadway in this little village but if we step out here into the wind you can see there's a there's
00:52another plow back here trying to desperately keep up with all this wind and snow that's coming down
00:56right now i would say at times we're getting gusts of 30 40 miles per hour probably uh with steady

01:02of around 20 miles per hour but you can see around me it is just a snow globe in here

01:07right up the road here just quick i'm going to run up here real quick just to show you that

01:12beach and the ocean out here right now and you almost cannot see anything right now so it is quite
01:18nasty out here in long branch new jersey back to you guys and really quickly conditions pretty extreme
01:25now explain to our viewers what it was like doing the height of this
01:32yeah so during the height of the storm when we had one of those heavy bands the heaviest band come
01:36through we were getting probably those three maybe even up to four inches of snowfall uh per hour uh coming
01:42down heavy and then the winds came through at times when those bands came through blowing it all around and
01:47but it has been a remarkable situation here the plows i've seen hundreds of plows working non-stop
01:53since last night as soon as the snow started falling they were working and they have not stopped
01:57all night they've been clearing and remarkably you know some of the primary roadways are pretty good
02:02shape secondary roadways not so much you've got two feet up to two feet of snow potentially in some
02:07areas i saw one report of 19 inches of snow just off to my west here from long branch so
02:12it is still
02:12coming down uh and it's it is nasty out here guys as you can see i am just getting coated
