00:00 I am Pragya and I bring to you excerpts from the year-ender issue titled "We Bear Witness".

00:06 The issue is dedicated to the people of Gaza and what they went through.

00:11 Outlook expresses gratitude to each one who spoke to us, opened up to us.

00:17 Many of them have lost everything.

00:19 They have seen their loved ones killed.

00:21 Young children maimed.

00:23 Their houses turned to rubble.

00:25 They don't have food.

00:26 Water is contaminated.

00:28 Don't know what disaster tomorrow will bring.

00:31 Bombs are still falling.

00:33 And yet, they were willing to tell their stories to us.

00:36 They sent us emails, WhatsApp messages, voice notes, DMs on social media whenever they could.

00:44 Whatever they could manage.

00:45 Even a word sometimes.

00:47 They gave us faith and courage.

00:50 Lost doesn't know any country.

00:52 It is universal.

00:53 But sometimes, it concentrates in one place, like in Gaza.

00:58 This issue is dedicated to everyone who told us their stories and to everyone out there
