00:00 Welcome to DriveSpark, I'm Vedant Johari and Kinetic Green has just launched the Zulu and

00:15 let's take a look at this electric scooter up close.

00:18 Starting off with the front end of the electric scooter, you have this really nicely designed

00:23 LED DRLs which have these, as you can see these small lights over here on the left,

00:30 in the centre and spanning all the way till the right.

00:32 As you can see, it resembles some of the scooters we have right now in the market and throughout

00:37 the scooter, it has taken some design inspirations from those scooters.

00:43 This is the Kinetic Green new logo which with this green addition, it really looks very

00:49 eco-friendly and they also are very focused towards making the ecosystem much more healthier

00:55 and giving life to a new world.

00:59 And then looking at this front light, it has this really nice angular design with this

01:04 main light over here.

01:05 So this is the main headlight and this is the DRL on the scooter.

01:09 Now on the front mount guard, we have this really nice groove over here and it has a

01:14 really nice finish to the paint, it has this slight glitter when you look up close.

01:19 Also the suspension that we have is a telescopic suspension in the front as we can see.

01:24 It uses seat tyres.

01:26 So everything on the scooter is all Indian made, it's all, nothing is imported except

01:30 for the cells of the battery.

01:32 Every single thing, right from your brake calipers to your wheels to everything on the

01:36 body is all sourced from India which is something really really nice.

01:40 And as we look towards the side, it has a very very very decent look, nothing too fancy

01:47 or nothing too extra.

01:49 And over here, we have this Zulu badging and at the back, we have this really nice grab

01:55 rail design, very sleek that really blends into the whole aesthetic of this electric

01:59 scooter.

02:00 Now the seat that we have is very comfortable, properly cushioned, it doesn't feel too uncomfortable

02:04 to sit on.

02:05 We haven't got a chance to ride this scooter yet, so when we do, you will get a review

02:10 on how the seating is for when we're actually riding it.

02:12 Now coming to the rear of the scooter, we have this really wide brake light that's definitely

02:18 gonna attract other road goers when you're riding and it's something you definitely can't

02:23 miss.

02:24 Now to the left of it and to the right of it are the indicators and these also are fairly

02:28 large as compared to the regular scooters that we have.

02:31 Now looking at the rear wheel over here, that's where the motor is, it's a hub motor and we

02:36 have twin shocks at the rear.

02:39 This scooter also comes with a side stand cut-off sensor and also comes with a centre

02:43 stand which is pretty common.

02:45 Now looking at the dash of this scooter, we have this very uniquely designed dash and

02:50 once we turn it on, this is how the dash switches on.

02:54 It's not the smoothest of features but it's really really convenient, you don't need something

02:59 much for a regular city going scooter.

03:03 So that was it and then on the handles we have this really nice grip over here on either

03:09 side which has a really good feel for your hand and the tactile feel of the buttons is

03:16 really really nice, it doesn't feel uncomfortable and it's pretty quick to respond.

03:22 So that was the thing, also it has a front hook over here, a front storage space and

03:27 under seat storage space, let's take a look at the under seat storage space.

03:30 Open the under seat storage, you just need to turn it and the under seat unlocks.

03:33 It has this really really decent sized boot space which I'm pretty sure you can fit a

03:40 three piece helmet inside this.

03:42 Also it has this light over here for in the darkness when you need to find whatever you

03:47 store inside, it'll be easily accessible at that point.

03:50 So this was the Kinetic Green Zulu scooter, it has a top speed of 60 kmph and a range

03:56 of 104 km.

03:57 Powering the scooter is a 2.27 kW battery pack and the motor produces 2.1 kW.

04:06 So the Zulu is available in 6 colours, here in front of me we have two, we have a white,

04:12 red, blue, black and orange.

04:16 So these are the colours available on the Kinetic Zulu and it's priced at Rs. 94,990

04:23 so which is really really affordable.
