00:00 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:12 All praise is due to Allah, the One and Only. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and upon all who follow him.
00:22 O Allah, send blessings upon our Master, the Master of Muhammad and upon his family and companions.
00:29 Dear viewers and listeners, Peace and blessings be upon you.
00:37 You are listening to the program "Listen and Recite" with your host, Muhammad Suhail Raza Amjadi.
00:46 You know that we start the program with the topic of the Quran and Hadith.
00:52 Today, we have a very interesting incident. Before that, I would like to tell you about Ummul Mumineen Sayyida Ayesha (R.A)
01:01 She says that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "I have seen every single action of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
01:13 and he never hit a woman or a servant with his blessed hand."
01:21 Dear viewers, those who hit their wives or sisters,
01:28 it is a different matter to hit them in a religious matter.
01:35 But Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had nine wives at the time of his marriage.
01:41 And as you know, he had 11 wives at the time of his marriage.
01:45 So, he never hit anyone. And every wife thinks that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) loves her the most.
01:54 And he never hit a servant. In fact, Hazrat Anas (R.A) says that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never even said "Uff" to me.
02:05 If he had ever ordered me to do something and I had left it unknowingly, he would not have asked me why I did not do it.
02:12 And if he had ever stopped me from doing something and I had done it unknowingly, he would not have asked me why I did it.
02:21 I had forbidden you.
02:23 Dear viewers, these are the highest morals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which no creature can reach.
02:31 Hazrat Zaid bin Sa'ana, who was one of the Ahbari Jews,
02:35 narrates an incident of his conversion to Islam. He says that he had read the signs of the Prophet's (PBUH) prophethood in the Torah.
02:45 When I saw Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) I recognized all of them.
02:50 There were only two signs that were yet to be tested.
02:56 One was that his knowledge would take away all the anger from him. And the other was that his knowledge would increase his severity of ignorance and malice.
03:07 Now, for the test of these two signs, I was waiting for the right time.
03:15 I used to be very gentle with him.
03:19 One day, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left his palace and Moula Ali al-Muttada was with him.
03:27 A rider, who was apparently a nomad, came to him and said,
03:32 "O Messenger of Allah, people of a certain tribe have accepted Islam. I used to tell them that if they become Muslims, they will be given sustenance.
03:40 Now, it is not raining here. It has stopped. It is sunny.
03:46 O Messenger of Allah, I fear that they might become disillusioned with Islam because of the drought.
03:52 Because they had entered Islam for the sake of the drought.
03:56 If you have any opinion, please give me some support."
04:00 Hearing this, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to a Jew,
04:08 "I believe that he was Moula Ali al-Muttada."
04:14 He said, "There is nothing left of this.
04:18 I saw this and went ahead and gave you some things on the date of dates.
04:28 I gave you 80 muskals of gold.
04:35 You gave those 80 muskals to that rider and said, "Go quickly and distribute it among the people of that tribe."
04:41 When there were 2-3 days left to the end of the date,
04:45 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left with a body of an Ansari.
04:50 The companions were present with him.
04:54 Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman were present.
04:58 When you were free, you reached near a wall to sit.
05:01 I went ahead and grabbed your shirt and blanket.
05:06 I looked at you with sharp eyes and said, "Muhammad, do you not fulfil my right?"
05:12 "O family of Abdul Muttalib, by God, you make excuses to disobey the truth."
05:20 Umar could not tolerate this.
05:22 He looked at me with sharp eyes and said,
05:24 "O enemy of God, you say to the Prophet (PBUH) what I am hearing and treat you as I see.
05:33 I swear by the Holy One who has sent you with the truth.
05:37 If I was not afraid of dying in peace between Muslims and your people,
05:43 I would have blown your head off with my sword.
05:46 I cannot tolerate this."
05:48 The Prophet (PBUH) looked at Umar with great ease and smiled and said,
05:55 "O Umar, instead of being strict, I needed you to give me the right to fulfil my right and to demand it."
06:05 Wow!
06:06 What did he say?
06:09 Umar was strict and said,
06:12 "O Umar, you should have told me to fulfil my right and to demand it."
06:20 "O Umar, take this and give it to me as a gift of dates."
06:30 Umar took me with him and gave me twenty dates.
06:35 I asked him how this was possible.
06:37 Umar said, "My Prophet has given me this command.
06:42 I was strict and he gave me this command to give it to me."
06:46 I asked him if he recognized me.
06:50 He said no.
06:51 I said, "I am Zaid bin Sa'ana."
06:53 He said, "Are you the same Zaid who is a Jew?"
06:55 I said, "Yes."
06:56 I asked him why he treated the Prophet (PBUH) like that.
07:00 I said, "O Umar, when I saw the signs of the Prophet (PBUH) that I had read in the Torah,
07:08 only two signs remained that I had tried.
07:12 I testify that I accepted Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet.
07:23 I testify that half of my wealth is from the charity of the Ummah of Muhammad (PBUH)."
07:29 Umar and Zaid both came to the Prophet (PBUH)
07:34 and Zaid (R.A) accepted Islam.
07:39 After accepting Islam, he stayed with the Prophet (PBUH) in many battles
07:46 and was martyred in the battle of Tabuk while advancing towards the enemy.
07:50 This was the story of my Master (PBUH)
07:56 and it was his wisdom and his humility that even if the enemy came, he would be ready to die for him.
08:07 May Allah enable us to adopt the qualities of the Prophet (PBUH)
08:12 and to have wisdom and humility.
08:15 Let's go to today's lesson.
08:17 Our lesson today is Surah Al-Nahl, verse 30.
08:24 We will read it in today's lesson.
08:26 We will read it in the format of the lesson.
08:28 It is on the screen.
08:30 Keep the Holy Quran with you.
08:31 Take out today's lesson.
08:33 Keep a notebook with you.
08:35 If there is anything important, note it down.
08:38 Let's go to the first segment of today's program.
08:42 The Holy Quran is the first segment of our program.
08:45 Let's start today's lesson by reciting the verse of Ta'awuz.
08:50 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
08:54 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
08:58 It was said to those who feared Allah, "What has your Lord sent down?"
09:07 They said, "Good."
09:11 Now, you see here, "Rabbukum"
09:14 Whether you do Waf or not, it will be read as "Rabbukum".
09:17 "Khayrun"
09:18 In the case of Waf, the translation of two words changes from Alif to Khayrua.
09:24 In both places, there is a short form of "Tawha" which means that it is better to stay here.
09:29 How many words are there?
09:30 "Waw" one word, "Qeela" second, "Li" third, "Al-Lazeena" fourth,
09:37 "Ittaqaw" fifth, "Maadha" sixth, "Anzala" seventh, "Rabbu" eighth, "Kum" ninth, "Qaalu" tenth, "Khayrua" eleventh.
09:47 There are 11 words in total.
09:49 Let's read each word separately and then read it together.
09:53 "Waqeela li"

10:08 "Lil-Lazeena" will be read.
10:09 "Lil-Lazeena min-Nun-Par-Zabar" will be mixed with "Ittaqaw-Ki-Ta" and "Alif-Li-Hamza" will be removed from the middle.
10:15 "Waqeela lil-Lazeena taqaw"
10:19 Many people read it as "Taqoo"
10:23 "Taqoo" not "Taqoo"
10:25 "Maadha"
10:28 Here you see "Maadha" is a separate word and it is also called "Madda-Jahiz"
10:33 It should be read with a minimum of 3 letters and maximum 5 letters.

25:23 He gave barang-e-ikhta
25:25 It took a while to give charity to people
25:27 So much so that the effects of the Nagwari on the blessed soul of the Prophet (PBUH) were visible
25:31 Then a man from among the Ansar brought a bag of silver
25:34 I would like to say that we will have to go to the break
25:37 Do not go anywhere, we will meet after the break
25:40 I was saying that a man brought a bag of silver
25:45 Then another man came
25:47 Then people started to praise him
25:50 So much so that the effects of happiness were visible on the face of the Prophet (PBUH)
25:54 Then the Prophet (PBUH) said
25:57 The person who starts a good deed in Islam
26:03 And then follows a good deed
26:06 The reward of those who follow that good deed will be written in the name of the person who started that good deed
26:15 And the reward of those who follow that good deed will not be lessened
26:20 And the person who starts a bad deed in Islam
26:25 And then follows that bad deed
26:28 The reward of those who follow that bad deed will be written in the name of the person who started that bad deed
26:32 And the reward of those who follow that bad deed will not be lessened
26:35 The two Hadiths that we have discussed before
26:38 It is clearly stated that it is permissible to start a good deed
26:43 And it is forbidden to start a bad deed
26:46 And the person who starts a good deed
26:49 Or invent a good deed
26:51 Whether it is in the form of knowledge
26:55 Or worship
26:56 Or work of literature
26:57 Or anything else
26:59 He will be rewarded for the good deeds of his followers
27:02 And the person who starts a bad deed
27:05 He will be punished for the bad deeds of his followers
27:09 Look at the example of creating a good deed in worship
27:13 It is possible that someone says that this is a good deed
27:19 So a new deed
27:21 So at the time of Fajr prayer
27:23 Hazrat Bilal (R.A) said
27:26 Tell me, which deed in Islam
27:32 Which reward do you expect the most
27:35 Because I have heard the sound of your shoes in heaven
27:39 Hazrat Bilal (R.A) said
27:41 The deed that I expect the most
27:44 Whenever I perform ablution in the day and night
27:47 I offer the prayer that is destined for me
27:51 Viewers, this hadith is beneficial
27:55 It is also permissible to set the time of worship
27:59 Because Bilal (R.A) set the time of prayer after every ablution
28:07 And the Prophet (PBUH) set the time
28:10 Viewers, after every ablution, it is called the Sunnah of Bilal
28:14 The Prophet (PBUH) has improved it
28:16 Similarly, the Muslims started to hold the gatherings of the Prophet (PBUH)
28:23 And in these gatherings, the Prophet (PBUH) is described in his good deeds
28:29 It is also permissible to stand up and recite salutation to the Prophet (PBUH)
28:35 In the era of the Prophet (PBUH), the Caliphs and the best followers
28:42 It is obvious that we do not see the Prophet (PBUH) in this way
28:47 But we see the effect of it
28:49 In the Quran, the Prophet (PBUH) was praised
28:53 His glory and high status was described
28:56 In the hadiths, we read that the companions used to praise him
29:01 In the 54th hadith, the companions used to recite the Naat of the Prophet (PBUH)
29:08 So, the effect is there
29:10 Similarly, standing up and reciting salutation to the Prophet (PBUH)
29:13 In the Quran, it is stated that you should also recite salutation to the Prophet (PBUH)
29:20 It is stated in the Quran
29:22 So, you should stand up and recite salutation to the Prophet (PBUH)
29:25 But you should recite it
29:26 If the one who stands up and recites salutation to the Prophet (PBUH) is reciting,
29:28 Then the one who sits down and recites salutation to the Prophet (PBUH) should not say that it is wrong
29:30 And if the one who sits down and recites salutation to the Prophet (PBUH) is reciting,
29:32 Then the one who stands up and recites salutation to the Prophet (PBUH) should not say that it is wrong
29:35 So, it is obvious that there are different ways
29:37 And there is no harm in it
29:39 And if you do good deeds in accordance with the nature of Shariah,
29:45 Then you will be rewarded
29:47 For example, when a person reaches near Madinah Munawwara,
29:53 Before entering the house of the Prophet (PBUH)
29:57 He should take a bath or perform ablution
29:59 And it is better to take a bath
30:00 He should wear clean and new clothes
30:03 Some Muslims start walking near Madinah
30:07 And they enter Madinah on foot
30:09 So, since it is in the context of respect and etiquette
30:11 It is obvious that it is good
30:13 And the Prophet (PBUH) said that the work that Muslims consider good is good in the sight of Allah
30:18 And the work that Muslims consider bad is bad in the sight of Muslims
30:22 Similarly, you can see that the Tarawih community was not prevalent in the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
30:27 But when Ubaid bin Ka'b was made Imam by Hazrat Umar (R.A)
30:32 And he made all the companions stand behind him
30:35 And the next day he came and saw that
30:37 "Ni'mat al bid'ah tuhaasi"
30:39 This is bid'ah
30:41 But he said, what is this lovely bid'ah
30:43 That all Muslims are standing behind an Imam
30:45 And offering the Tarawih prayer
30:47 And today in the Holy Mosque, the Tarawih prayer is offered in congregation
30:51 And it is offered with great joy
30:55 Similarly, the call to prayer of Jumatul Mubarak
30:59 Viewers, please understand this
31:01 The call to prayer of Jumatul Mubarak
31:05 The second call to prayer was in the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
31:09 It was not the first call to prayer
31:11 Hazrat Usman al Ghani (R.A) called the first call to prayer
31:16 Today, there is not one call to prayer in the whole world
31:20 There are two call to prayer
31:21 "O ye who believe! When the Friday prayer is called, then go to the remembrance of Allah"
31:26 Here, the commentators have said that with the first call to prayer
31:31 Leave all worldly affairs
31:33 "Fas'au ila dhikrillah"
31:35 Pay attention to the Friday prayer and make preparations
31:39 So you see, the commentators have said that this means the first call to prayer
31:43 Although the first call to prayer was not allowed in the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
31:46 Similarly, there is a new work in religion
31:50 So not all new works in religion are bad
31:55 But the beliefs that the Prophet (PBUH) gave
31:59 The companions, the Ahlul Bayt, the perfect scholars of the Ummah
32:03 So it is not permissible to add a new belief to it
32:07 And it is said that every bid'ah is misguided
32:12 So every bid'ah is misguided in terms of belief
32:14 Whatever new belief is there, it is misguided
32:16 The belief that my Prophet (PBUH) gave, that belief should be followed
32:20 But where it comes to work, whether it is religious work
32:24 So you see, I tell you
32:26 According to the Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH)
32:30 Whoever has adopted a new way in Islam
32:32 Whoever has adopted a good deed in Islam
32:36 Means it was not before, it was adopted
32:38 So it is said that it is good
32:40 The one who does good deeds will be rewarded
32:42 And whoever has done good deeds, the other Muslims who will do good deeds till the end
32:46 They will also be rewarded, the one who does good deeds will also be rewarded
32:49 And whoever has done bad deeds, he will be a sinner
32:51 And whoever is doing bad deeds till the end, he will be punished
32:56 And whoever has done good deeds, he will be punished
33:00 So it is in the Hadith
33:02 So the new work that is similar to the actual work of the Prophet (PBUH)
33:10 According to the nature of the Shariah, that new work is very good
33:14 That bid'ah is very good
33:15 For example, you see, this is also a bid'ah
33:20 It was not before
33:21 Similarly, the gathering in the mosque
33:25 This was not before, it is now
33:27 And it is a good thing
33:28 That people are not brought to the mosque, then where to bring
33:30 Similarly, you see, this is Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Ibn Majah, Sunan Nasai
33:37 And all these books of politics
33:40 This was in the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
33:42 But later it was adopted
33:43 The inauguration of Bukhari
33:45 The inauguration of Bukhari, today everyone does
33:47 Similarly, in Madras, regular annual gathering
33:52 So all these things are according to the nature of the Shariah
33:55 So it is absolutely right
33:56 And it will be rewarded
33:57 If you are contradicting the Shariah, then that bid'ah is misguidance
34:01 That new work is misguidance
34:02 Then it should be avoided
34:05 We need to understand this
34:07 O Allah, make us all understand the religion
34:09 With this, our second segment of this program is completed
