00:00 Camera's running. Hi there, my name's Andre Cunene and this is Andre's food bar in Drayton.
00:07 So we're on Havant Road Drayton? We are Havant Road Drayton, yes. Okay now Andre I understand
00:11 there's special reasons for celebration? Yeah it's 35 years since the business was started
00:16 by my parents. First shop was down in Southsea and it's gone from strength to strength since
00:22 they opened and we're very happy to be up in Drayton now. Okay so how does that feel
00:27 then 35 years in business? Yeah it's a big number, 35 years is a milestone and a half,
00:36 we hope to be going again in another 35 years. Absolutely, so what's the secret of your popularity
00:41 Andre? I suppose moving with the times to a certain extent, good recipe, good ingredients
00:49 and great customer service is one thing we strive to achieve. We get told a lot not only
00:54 our food is good but we have great customer service and people are happy to come in. Good
01:01 stuff. So you've got a couple of other branches I understand? We do, we have this store which
01:08 is the newest store on Drayton Road, then there is Lord Montgomery Way down near the
01:15 University of Portsmouth and the original store in Osborne Road Southsea which started
01:20 as La Croix-en-Prie and that's 35 years this week. Okay so what are your hopes for the
01:27 future then Andre? Well we hope to be going in another 35 years, whether it be children
01:33 taking over then, myself and my business partner Anthony, we hope to be going in 35 years,
01:42 perhaps there will be more shops, we don't know, we will see. Brilliant, thank you very
01:45 much for speaking to the news. Thank you very much, thank you.
