00:00 the game.
00:03 Caleb Williams is still the most talented quarterback in college football, leads the
00:08 country in passing touchdowns.
00:09 He certainly won't be winning a Heisman Trophy this year.
00:13 Kind of knew that from the jump.
00:14 It was going to be hard to go back to back out in Southern California.
00:18 But at what point is the backdoor not going to be?
00:21 And that's the worst case scenario.
00:22 At what point will the backdoor not be open with this USC offense?
00:26 They were routed by this number, obviously, when they played Notre Dame, that was with
00:30 a billion turnovers in the game.
00:33 USC just has to even slightly protect the football and they should stay inside this
00:38 number all game long here, Joe.
00:41 And I just I know it is it is unlikely.
00:43 And I'm actually hoping Oregon wins because I have a Bonix Heisman ticket future that
00:46 I'm hoping can cross the finish line.
00:48 But Lincoln Riley, when he says, hey, we have a lot to play for a lot of people go, come
00:52 on, get a load of this guy.
00:54 That's right.
00:55 Yeah, a win today.
00:56 And they can very well get to the Pac-12 championship game here.
01:00 USC, if they no show this game, then Lincoln Riley does and he shouldn't be fired.
01:05 But we need to have a real conversation about what he is getting out of all this talent
01:09 in US.
01:10 Well, it's motivation and it's perception.
01:12 And that's the biggest thing.
01:13 I think when you look at USC as a whole, yes, they do have an opportunity for the Pac-12
01:17 championship.
01:18 But when you look at this team with Caleb Williams, a Heisman Trophy winner, it was
01:22 college football playoff or bust for the most part.
01:25 And one way one loss is OK.
01:27 Two losses, you start to say what's going on.
01:30 Three and how they've lost, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
01:34 There's a problem.
01:35 They got rid of the cancer.
01:36 They got rid of the problem with Alex Grinch should have been done a long time ago, even
01:39 prior to the season.
01:41 And we knew that was the weakness in regards to USC.
01:44 But it's how they lost last week.
01:45 I think that why you're seeing this number.
01:47 And I'm with Kevin.
01:48 I like USC tonight.
01:49 But they gave up over 300 rushing yards to Washington.
01:52 Why is that important?
01:54 Because they're a pass heavy offense.
01:55 Washington went into that ballgame last week, averaging only 144 rushing yards per game
02:01 and only about four yards per carry.
02:03 And they beat them up in the interior, in the trenches.
02:07 And when you look at Oregon, potentially the biggest, most physical team within the conference,
02:13 that's where the matchup is either won or lost.
02:15 Well, the perception is Oregon's just going to walk out there, run it for 300 and game
02:20 over sign seal delivered 63 to 19, just the way it was against California last week.
02:26 I think it's a different story.
02:27 I think that when you look at Oregon, they potentially can be challenged over the top.
02:31 Cam Ward did it a few weeks ago for over 300.
02:34 Caleb still averaging 45 points per game.
02:37 That's the difference for me.
02:38 Oregon.
