John Askey shares his verdict on Hartlepool United's National League defeat against Aldershot Town at the EBB Stadium.

00:00 I don't think he even picked the bones out of the idea, just furious that we ended up losing again.

00:07 First half we weren't good enough, second half we'd come out and done a bit better, got the goal in then.

00:12 We had opportunities to make it more, which we didn't take, but the goals that we give away are horrendous again.

00:52 and then other times you just remember it's the same player. The big thing today was the manner of the goals, it just shouldn't have happened.

01:04 The first goal should be in there off the pitch, should be cleared, then he's trying to pass the ball when under pressure.

01:12 There's no need to with one up, so just get them turned, and then obviously giving the ball away in that position, put them in.

01:24 Then the second goal was just horrendous. How you can do what we've done there, I can't ever remember a team doing that.
