00:02 And you brought it up, the London game.
00:04 The first game on the slate.
00:06 We'll head to the other side of the pond
00:08 as the Jacksonville Jaguars,
00:11 maybe soon to be London Jaguars.
00:13 They keep playing this way over there, Scott.
00:15 They win the game 25 to 20 over the Buffalo Bills.
00:19 They did so as five and a half point underdogs.
00:22 So the dog was barking as the Jags win outright.
00:25 48 and a half being the total stays just under that.
00:29 Of course, this was the first game up,
00:31 a morning kick on the East Coast
00:33 and even more early kick on the West Coast of the US.
00:36 Either way, Jags win it outright.
00:38 What'd you take away from London today?
00:40 Yeah, I thought they were live dogs today.
00:44 The fact that they had played there last week,
00:46 I thought that gave them a huge advantage.
00:49 Then you mentioned it earlier in the program
00:51 that you said that the Buffalo didn't go there until Friday.
00:55 So they're dealing with that long, long flight.
00:57 How they get acclimated to everything
00:59 and play a football game in the afternoon,
01:01 that's like day and a half later.
01:04 That's a tough spot for Buffalo, right?
01:06 And the Bills were coming off the emotional big win
01:08 against the Miami Dolphins the previous week.
01:10 So I actually thought Jacksonville was a pretty live dog.
01:13 Good win by them.
01:15 They kind of turned their season around there.
01:16 They hit the skid there, losing to Houston at home.
01:19 Who knows what was gonna happen?
01:20 They lose last week, but they get the job done.
01:22 And for Buffalo, back in second place,
01:25 Miami winning, which we'll get to here in a second.
01:28 They're in first place and the Bills fall to three and two.
01:31 - Yeah, how about it, Scott?
01:33 What do you think about the overall Jags playing in London?
01:37 You think this is something that has legs
01:39 going forward for the NFL?
01:41 You think what, Mexico City maybe?
01:43 What do you think the NFL's planning here?
01:44 What do you think the Jaguars are planning in the future?
01:47 - You know, I mean, listen, they're gonna play over there.
01:50 They play every year, right?
01:51 This is their 11th game over there.
01:53 So they clearly have no issues about going over there.
01:56 Their second home.
01:58 They would have to though,
01:59 in order to have one team over there,
02:02 you really need to have four teams.
02:04 You have to have a whole division.
02:06 You can't have teams flying back across halfway
02:08 across the country,
02:09 which is what the one team would have to do, right?
02:12 When they came back to the States to play.
02:14 But if they set up a division over there,
02:16 then at least they could, you know,
02:18 when teams go to play them, they can play the other teams.
02:21 And when they come over here to the States,
02:23 then they can sit around for a couple of weeks
02:24 and then play a few teams here.
02:26 So I don't really think it's gonna happen in our lifetime,
02:30 but, you know, I think we're gonna see
02:32 more and more international stuff.
02:34 The one thing, you know,
02:35 every sport kind of has their niche, right?
02:38 And each sport is kind of jealous of all the others.
02:43 The one thing that the NFL is jealous of is the NBA
02:48 and the international flair that the NBA has.
02:51 And I think the NFL sees how much money
02:54 the NBA makes overseas, which is a ton.
02:58 And they say, we want a piece of that.
03:00 We got to find a way to get football, real football,
03:04 thank you very much, over in Europe.
03:07 So, you know, let me correct myself.
03:09 And maybe we will see it before, you know, my lifetime.
03:11 Maybe we will within the next few years.
