00:00Steve Kerr had the balls again to double down on his comments from last week, which is,
00:04you know, I really think we're asking players to play too much.
00:09You would have thought he would have learned something, play next to Michael Jordan all
00:12that time, right?
00:14I really think we need to, we really need to consider taking 10 games off the schedule.
00:20You know, that would make the NBA a lot better for people.
00:23So I was like, that's interesting.
00:24Why don't we go take a look at the amazing Steve Kerr and the under 500 Golden State Warriors,
00:32right?
00:33And let's take a look who Steve Kerr put out there on the court yesterday.
00:37You had the Podsmaster.
00:39You had, you tell me when you know the guy, Q Post.
00:42You had Santos.
00:43You had Richard.
00:45And you had Leon's.
00:46That's your starting five.
00:48A lot of those guys' household names?
00:50No.
00:50Off the bench, you had Gary Payton II.
00:52We know him, of course.
00:53Then you had Spencer, Cryer, Williams, and Yurt Seven.
01:00You had all good old Yurt Seven.
01:02Oh, well, that's the guy.
01:03Yeah.
01:03So I'm watching the game because I'm a Nick fan, of course.
01:05And I'm like, you have some ball, Steve Kerr, talking about how the answer to fix the NBA
01:12is to ask the guys to play 10 fewer games when you didn't play anybody yesterday.
01:20Now, some guys have legitimate injuries.
01:22Yeah, Curry's out.
01:23Like Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, of course.
01:25Yeah, he's ACL.
01:26Right?
01:27Draymond Green.
01:28I don't know what his deal is these days.
01:29But, like, you've got some bolts as an under 500 coach going through the motions, coming
01:37to Madison Square Garden with Yurt Seven and Cryer and Spencer and Santos and Leones and telling
01:49us that you've got the answer to fix basketball when you don't care enough to put a competitive
01:55team on the court yesterday at Madison Square Garden.
01:59You're part of the problem, Steve Kerr, and I respect your success.
02:04You'll probably get into the Hall of Fame one day.
02:07But are you really that good a head coach?
02:09Do we really care about your sanctimonious nonsense when it comes to society or how to
02:17fix basketball?
02:18Here's a novel idea.
02:20Why don't we have the guys that are making north of $40 million a year actually play basketball
02:27a couple times a week?
02:29Maybe that would be a good step towards fixing the game that we all love and not setting some
02:36weird parameter where you're allowed to take 22% of all your games off and still be eligible
02:43for postseason awards and all NBA teams?
02:47Perhaps if the paycheck went along with the caring and desire to play and earn the paycheck
02:56every single night, maybe by default basketball would just be better.
03:02But no, Steve Kerr, nobody asks and nobody cares about your solution to fixing basketball if
03:10that solution is less basketball.
03:13Bye-bye.
