00:58 Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
01:03 Listen and recite the Quran with your program.
01:07 Your host, Muhammad Suhail Raza Amjadi is present at your service.
01:14 Dear viewers,
01:16 Alhamdulillah, Surah Nahl is about to begin.
01:22 So, we will introduce it to you.
01:27 Surah Nahl is a Surah in Makkah.
01:31 It contains 128 verses of the Holy Quran.
01:35 It is a total of 16 Ruku'at.
01:39 It is a Surah in Makkah, but the verses from the beginning to the end are revealed in Madinah.
01:53 So, it does not matter if a Surah is called Makkah and some verses are revealed in Madinah.
02:01 Or if a Surah is called Madinah and some verses are revealed after the migration, it does not matter.
02:12 It will be called Makkah and Madinah.
02:14 The meaning of Nahl is the bee of honey.
02:19 The word Nahl is in this verse.
02:23 Surah Nahl, verse 68
02:33 "And your Lord put the bee of honey in the heart, and made a house in the mountains, and in the trees, and in the hills."
02:40 There is no other word for the word Nahl in the Holy Quran.
02:46 That is why the name of this Surah is Nahl.
02:50 This Surah is famous in the books of Hadith and Tafaseer.
02:58 This Surah was revealed in the last period of Makkah.
03:03 Al-Wasid, Volume 3, Page 55
03:08 Hazrat Ubay bin Ka'b (R) narrates that the Prophet (PBUH) said
03:15 "The one who recites Surah Nahl will not be held accountable for the blessings he has been given in this world."
03:26 That is, the blessings he has been given will not be held accountable.
03:33 "And he will be rewarded like the one who has recited the will of Allah in accordance with the Shariah."
03:41 Ibn-e-Jawzi writes that Ibn-e-Abbas narrates that this Surah is in Makkah.
03:50 And another narration is that after the martyrdom of Hazrat Hamza (R)
03:55 This verse was revealed.
03:57 "And if you follow, then follow also as I have followed you."
04:00 This is Surah Nahl, verse 126.
04:03 This Surah was revealed in Makkah.
04:11 In addition to this, there is another narration from Ibn-e-Abbas (R)
04:16 Surah Nahl, verses 95 to 97, all other verses were revealed in Makkah.
04:24 And Imam Shabi said that Surah Nahl, verses 126 to 128, all other verses were revealed in Makkah.
04:33 There are other narrations, but this is a famous saying.
04:36 Most of the subjects of this Surah are about the unity of Allah, divinity, and the worship of the one who deserves it.
04:43 And various arguments were given on this.
04:49 And Shirk was condemned.
04:51 And the punishment of the hereafter was announced.
04:55 And the prophethood and the message of the Prophet (PBUH) was proven.
04:59 And it was said that the Quran was revealed to him.
05:03 And that the Islamic Shariah is based on the religion of Hazrat Abraham (PBUH).
05:08 And after the Day of Judgment and death, the life and the reward and the punishment were stated.
05:14 We have explained the subject matter and the objectives of Surah Nahl.
05:23 But, InshaAllah, we have limited time.
05:26 So, InshaAllah, tomorrow we will complete the Surah Nahl.
05:30 We will explain the subject matter and the objectives of this Surah.
05:34 We will summarize this Surah in terms of the subject matter.
05:38 And you will be able to understand the things that Allah has said in this Surah.

24:27 (Reciting)
24:56 Dear listeners,
24:58 The first thing is that I have come to give you a lesson.
25:05 I have come to tell you the straight path.
25:08 I have come to tell you that there are two paths.
25:11 One path is the path on which you can please Allah.
25:16 This straight path leads to heaven.
25:20 The other path is the path of disobedience and sin.
25:26 This path will lead you to hell.
25:31 Dear listeners,
25:33 I have told you that there is no example to explain this.
25:39 But I am telling you without any allegory.
25:43 Dear listeners, when you go somewhere,
25:46 you ask an expert which is the right way to go.
25:53 He will tell you the right and wrong paths.
25:55 He will tell you that this is safe and there is no danger in it.
25:58 And this is a dangerous path.
26:00 I will tell you.
26:01 But we will go to the break.
26:02 Do not go anywhere.
26:03 We will meet after the break.
26:05 Welcome back dear listeners.
26:07 I was telling you before the break.
26:09 Dear listeners,
26:11 In the first verse, the word of punishment,
26:14 Now you see,
26:16 Please pay attention.
26:17 I am the one who causes fear.
26:21 And the word of punishment is hidden.
26:27 And you say, I have come to scare you with punishment.
26:33 I am the one who scares.
26:35 This is the verse.
26:37 [Arabic]
26:45 Surah Hameen, verse 13
26:49 If the soul does not repent,
26:51 then you say, I have scared you with a severe punishment.
26:55 Like the punishment of Aad and Samood.
26:59 After this, in verse 90, Allah says,
27:02 [Arabic]
27:06 As We have sent down punishment on them,
27:09 Who were the distributors?
27:11 Who are the distributors?
27:14 Now, there are different sayings of the commentators in this.
27:18 I will tell you some sayings.
27:22 Who were the distributors?
27:24 And what were they distributing?
27:27 Hazrat Muqatil and Hazrat Farrah say,
27:31 Wali bin Mughira sent 16 people to the valleys of Mecca and the roads of Mecca during the days of Hajj.
27:40 He used to say to those who came to Mecca from those roads,
27:45 One of us has appeared,
27:48 Who claims to be a prophet.
27:50 Do not be deceived by his words,
27:53 Because he is crazy.
27:55 And sometimes he says that he is a magician.
27:57 And sometimes he says that he is a poet.
28:00 And sometimes he says that he is a priest.
28:02 So, he was called a distributor because he had divided the valleys and roads of Mecca.
28:10 You stand there, I will stand here, and so and so will stand there.
28:14 He had divided them.
28:16 Allah has disgraced him with the worst death.
28:20 He had made Wali bin Mughira stand at the door of Masjid-e-Haram.
28:25 And when the people from outside asked him about the Prophet, he said that these people are right.
28:33 Hazrat Iqtada said that this was a group of the disbelievers of the Quraish.
28:37 They had divided the book of Allah.
28:41 Some used to say that he is a poet,
28:43 Some used to say that he is a magician,
28:45 Some used to say that he is a storyteller of the Jinn,
28:49 And some used to say that he is a story of the previous people.
28:52 He had prepared his mind.
28:57 If someone asks you, you say that he is a poet.
29:00 If someone asks you, you say that he is a magician.
29:03 If someone asks you, you say that he is a storyteller.
29:05 And if someone asks you, you say that he is a story of the previous people.
29:10 He is a story of the previous people.
29:12 So, they had divided the things among themselves.
29:15 For example, if there is a fight,
29:20 I am giving an example.
29:22 There are 3-4 people from here and 3-4 people from here.
29:26 So, they had decided that you talk a little strictly,
29:29 you talk this way, I will talk that way, you say that way.
29:32 So that the talks do not get mixed up and everyone's talk is correct.
29:37 So, God forbid, they divided among themselves that you say magic, you say story,
29:40 you say that there are stories of the previous people.
29:42 So, they divided among themselves.
29:45 That is why God said that they are divided.
29:47 Ibn Abbas (r) says that these were people of the book.
29:52 They had believed in some of the books.
29:55 "And they disbelieved in some of the books"
29:58 The Quran also says that they had believed in some of the books
30:02 and they had not believed in some of the books.
30:05 They disbelieved.
30:06 So, they divided the book.
30:08 That is why they were called divided.
30:10 Hazrat Iqrama (r) also said that these are people of the book.
30:14 The reason why they were divided was that they made fun of the book
30:19 and said that this surah is mine and this surah is yours.
30:23 God forbid.
30:24 That is why they divided among themselves that this surah is yours and this surah is mine.
30:28 So, because they divided the Quran, that is why they were called divided.
30:32 And the second saying of Hazrat Qadada (r) is that
30:34 the people of the book had divided their book
30:37 because they had made fun of the book.
30:41 That is, they believed in some of the books and did not believe in some of the books.
30:44 That is why they were called divided.
30:46 Zaid bin Aslam said that these are the people of the book.
30:51 They had taken oaths to kill the Prophet (pbuh)
30:54 and the word "mukhtasimeen" means those who take oaths.
30:57 This is mentioned in Surah Nahl, verse 49.
31:01 Akhfash says that these were the people who had taken oaths to kill the Prophet (pbuh).
31:06 Among them were Aas bin Wail, Udba bin Rabia, Shaeba bin Rabia, Abu Jahl bin Hisham,
31:11 Abu Bakhtari bin Hisham, Nadar bin Harith, Umayya bin Khalf, and Nadar bin Hujjaj.
31:17 These people had taken oaths.
31:19 That is why they were called divided.
31:21 Viewers, these were some sayings about who is meant by "mukhtasimeen".
31:25 We have presented them to you.
31:27 Viewers, we will stop here.
31:30 And obviously, we have to take the call.
31:32 We will start the Tafseer tomorrow with the rest of the ayat.
31:36 With this, the second segment of our program has been completed.
31:39 Let us move to the third and last segment.
31:42 This is a segment for the whole world.
31:45 You can call us.
