00:00 UMNO Youth Chief Dr. Ahmad Saleh has called on local government development minister
00:05 Ngah Kuo Ming to explain why DAP's logo was present on a mock donation cheque issued to
00:10 several schools in Ipoh, Perak.
00:12 In a Facebook post, he asked if the funds are from the government.
00:16 He said if it was a government contribution to the schools, he questioned the rationale
00:20 for having the DAP logo on the mock cheque.
00:23 On Saturday, it was reported that 17 Chinese primary and secondary schools in Perak were
00:28 granted an allocation of RM1.8 million from the Education Ministry for repair and upgrading
00:33 work.
00:34 Ngah, who is also the Perak DAP chairman, was present to hand over the mock cheques
00:39 to the schools.
00:40 Photographs of the presentation showed the DAP logo on the mock cheques alongside the
00:45 logos of Pakatan Harapan and Malaysia Madani and the National Coat of Arms.
