00:03 because the whole concept is getting guys in certain spots that are going to outperform

00:07 their ADP. ADP is not truth. Everybody ADP is just a guideline. It's polling. It's where

00:13 everybody thinks. Generally speaking, this is the value of a player, but just because

00:17 they think that doesn't mean that it can't be better or worse. And I think that's where

00:21 the real game of fantasy football comes into play. That's where draft strategy comes into

00:24 play and understanding when to take certain players matters quite a bit. Now this first

00:28 player obviously is dealing with an injury as of yesterday. So it's a little bit of a

00:32 bummer, but I want to talk about them anyway, because it's not a leg injury. It's a shoulder

00:35 issue here dealing with a Devon A-chain. But here's the thing. You're looking at a backfield

00:40 and we're going to look at some of these backfields where they're open for business basically.

00:43 So Devon A-chain is very fast, very, very fast. Let me just reiterate how fast he is.

00:51 He's very fast. Devon A-chain was drafted this year by the Miami Dolphins and a lot of

00:57 people see him as kind of that change of pace back. But the difference is the offense he

01:01 landed in. Now Mike McDaniel is somebody who knows how to get speedy guys the football

01:05 in space and then let them make plays. I.e. Jalen Waddell, Tyreek Hill. So Devon A-chain

01:11 could just be another extension of that out of the backfield. And that's a scary thing

01:15 potentially for the rest of this AFC East because that is a lot of speed to have to

01:19 deal with. And the guy is ahead of him in this depth chart right now. You're looking

01:22 at Raheem Mozart and Jeffrey Wilson Jr. And I think we all know at this point what those

01:27 guys are and who those guys are. So now it's a matter of where's the upside and the upside

01:32 always with Devon A-chain who was starting to get a little traction here in the last

01:35 week or so. And then this injury I'm sure is going to set it back. Now we don't have

01:39 clarity as of how much time he's going to miss with this injury. He was carded off with

01:43 the shoulder, but that's because of where he was in the field. So this is one of those

01:47 things where sometimes things hit social media. We start to panic a little bit. Well, he's

01:50 carded off the field because they weren't going to take him, you know, walk him through

01:53 the game that was still going on. He was already on the sideline. So we're just going to put

01:57 him on the cart and take him around to the other side to get into the tunnel. So hopefully

02:02 this is a more minor injury. Hopefully this is something that we're just being very, you

02:06 know, very proactive about here for the dolphins because I think they kind of need Devon A-chain.

02:11 Mozart has not been a guy that stayed healthy. Neither is Jeffrey Wilson Jr. And A-chain

02:16 is that explosive player. You can't bet on a ton of carries from this guy or a ton of

02:20 touches per game. But I think what you can count on from Devon A-chain is the ability

02:25 to when he touched the football to go ahead and make explosive plays. And that is what

02:30 you're looking for. And that's really useful in your flex spots, especially in deeper leagues.

02:34 So Devon A-chain is a guy right now, you look at the draft capital, he's somewhere around,

02:39 you know, 119 overall. I think that's a player that's worthy of rostering and hopefully this

02:45 this shoulder injury won't be too bad.
