00:02 Muda has got a lot of meaning.
00:04 It's a pure Kannada word.
00:06 It's like a 'Aadi Vasi', 'Aadi' meaning is there, the beginning.
00:09 Folklore is the knowledge from the people.
00:11 So you are grounded and you have wisdom also.
00:14 Uttarakhand region is so rich in rural heritage or culture.
00:19 And the tribes along the river, along the sea, and deep in the forest.
00:23 And my childhood was with these tribes.
00:25 So I thought I'll come back and start a different meaningful education.
00:30 We never encourage weekend trips here.
00:34 So when the children come or anybody comes here, we ask them to stay longer period.
00:39 My parents decided to document the entire folklore of this Uttarakhand region in 40 years.
00:47 This much rich local wisdom was lying in front of me.
00:52 It's like a live and learn kind of program we do here.
