00:00 I think with this I must mention that Rajasthan tourism is the first state tourism which has
00:15 actually endorsed, adopted the first initiative of strengthening intangible cultural heritage
00:22 based tourism in western Rajasthan.
00:26 And ladies and gentlemen, friends, I really take a lot of pride in it that Rajasthan has
00:34 taken the first step in India and on behalf of UNESCO as their partner, we are the ground
00:43 agents working on it because we don't get this opportunity like in Jodhpur, Salawats,
00:51 Bhumik, Dhani, Priyana, years back, mostly people were leaving their business.
00:58 Why?
00:59 Because 34% they needed to pay the agency.
01:03 If 34% is the agency, why people will be there for them?
01:08 And that's why it is very important to ensure direct market linkage today they have.
01:15 So these are really important steps for the community which apparently may not look like
01:20 that because the young people were leaving it.
01:22 Now the young people are completely back to all the tourism.
01:28 And very important output that you can get from this, this reduces the vulnerable migration.
01:36 This reduces the unnecessarily, I'll say the distortion of the art forms and its safeguard
01:48 because it transmits the knowledge to the next generation.
01:53 When you organize a village festival, as part of the project we just did the village festivals
01:59 for the first time in the villages.
02:01 Arunawan Jagil is a village where 250 plus musicians, 250 plus musicians leave.
02:10 Trust me, this may be one of the very few villages in the world and this can be the
02:14 music destination of it.
02:15 So Shobhiti mentioned many different tourism, add music tourism to that and no other can
02:24 beat Arunawan Jagil, one step ahead.
02:27 So these are very, very important aspects of responsible tourism, ICH based tourism,
02:35 international cultural heritage based tourism.
02:37 Because think of the MNWTO's declaration this year, what is the theme this year?
02:42 This year's theme is rethinking tourism.
02:45 What is rethinking tourism?
02:47 It is where the community is not a bystander but it is in the nucleus of the community.
02:55 In case of ICH based tourism, who is in the nucleus of the community?
03:00 It is the community which is in the nucleus of the community.
03:03 So that's why keeping rethinking tourism in mind, keeping responsible tourism in mind,
03:08 I think Rajasthan tourism's step towards strengthening ICH based tourism investment in Rajasthan
03:14 is unthinkable and really deserves an applause from everybody and a salute from all of you.
03:22 Thank you.
03:23 Thank you very much.
