00:00 Well, we've still got a lot of cloud across the UK, further heavy rain over the next few
00:06 days and that's all down to an area of low pressure. In fact, another area of low pressure
00:11 moves in through Sunday night and into Monday to give some heavy rain across parts of England
00:15 and Wales. The good news is though that moves out of the way as we head towards the middle
00:19 of the week. High pressure starts to build in and settle things down for a time at least
00:25 and there are signs it could turn warmer as well. For the rest of Sunday, rather cloudy
00:31 across much of the UK. There'll be some bright or sunny spells but a scattering of showers
00:36 overall. Most places will be dry. Winds generally lighter than Saturday as well. So, if you
00:40 do stay dry and see some glimmers of sunshine, it may just feel a touch warmer. A little
00:46 bit breezy still towards the far northwest of the UK. Here showers a little bit more
00:50 frequent and in terms of temperatures, generally similar on face value. The high teens to low
00:56 20s but just a little bit drier and those winds a bit lighter. It may just feel a bit
01:01 warmer if you're outside for the rest of Sunday. However, thicker cloud and rain does push
01:07 into parts of Wales and the West Country as we move into the evening time. This rain turning
01:11 heavy as we move into the early hours, particularly across northern and western parts of Wales
01:16 and then later on into northern England. A Metovis rain forewarning coming into force
01:21 here at midnight, meaning there could be some localised disruption as we head into Monday
01:27 morning. Drier conditions, some clearer spells across Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland
01:31 but even here some showers. And with the winds starting to come in from the south with this
01:36 area of low pressure, we will see temperatures generally holding up 14, 15, 16 Celsius for
01:42 many, perhaps a touch lower under any clearer spells across the far northwest. So it means
01:47 a very wet start to Monday morning, particularly across England and Wales. This rain only slowly
01:53 pushing north and east with some uncertainty with the exact detail where the heaviest rain
01:57 will be. But most likely, northern England down into north and western parts of Wales
02:02 will see some hefty downpours. Cloudier elsewhere with showery outbreaks of rain but it does
02:07 start to brighten up later on in the day. Scotland and Northern Ireland here seeing
02:11 a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers again could be heavy at
02:15 times, perhaps thundery. And in terms of temperatures, well, very similar again, high teens to low
02:21 20s, perhaps 23 or 24 where we do start to see some bright spells. So it will be quite
02:26 a humid feeling day despite some lower temperatures in places. And then a quick look at the week
02:32 ahead. High pressure does start to build in as we head towards the middle of the week.
02:37 Temperatures rising as well, but that may lead to some thunderstorms as we head towards
02:41 next weekend. See you again soon.
