00:01It didn't feel very summery yesterday, but as we head into the weekend, that summer feel
00:05will return for most people.
00:06It won't return for everyone, though.
00:08There are a few blustery showers that are developing across the northern half of Scotland.
00:12The winds here will also be pretty strong.
00:14We could even see some gale force winds across those western isles.
00:18But further south across Wales and England, it will be much more in the way of some sunny
00:22spells, a bit more in the way of some higher cloud across those southern counties, which
00:25could turn the sunshine a little bit hazy for a time.
00:28But a pleasant end towards the week, temperatures will be around those mid-twenties, so feeling
00:32pretty warm.
00:33But under those clouds towards the north, it will be a fresher feel, especially within that
00:37south-westerly wind.
00:39As we go through the afternoon and evening, then, a lot of these showers will slowly start
00:43to move their way off towards those northern isles.
00:46But all eyes turn towards this band of rain as it does come in towards the north-west.
00:51It could be heavy at times, we could even hear the odd rumble of thunder through the early
00:54hours of Saturday morning.
00:56And again, the winds are going to be pretty strong towards those western isles.
01:00But further south, much more in the way of some clearer skies.
01:02We could even see some mist and fog patches developing in some prone spots.
01:05But a cooler feel towards Saturday morning, especially for the time of year.
01:11As we go through the rest of Saturday morning, then, this band of rain will slowly start to
01:15move its way south-eastwards.
01:16It will fragment and it will start to break up through the morning.
01:20But we will have some more showers developing across Scotland by midday.
01:23There will be some sunnier spells in between this.
01:26But once again, the best of the sunshine will be across Wales and the south-east of England,
01:31where it will start to feel pretty warm.

01:36We want to keep an eye on those temperatures as we head towards the weekend, as they do look
01:39like they will start to rise into the early part of next week.
