00:12 If you analyze the nutrition, it can empower and empower the present and future generation.
00:19 At least right now, I'm glad to say that we have a big plan,
00:24 which was launched in March this year by the Prime Minister and called the Poshin Abhijan.
00:30 I've never seen in my 20 years of career a country that has launched something like Poshin Abhijan.
00:36 And something like, I mean, very ambitious goals, but also after launch, immediately releasing funding
00:42 and supporting states and districts actually in rolling out the program.
00:46 We also need continuity.
00:48 Like for instance, vitamin A, you don't do it only once a year.
00:51 You need to do that every six months, you need to do vitamin A supplementation.
00:55 Name years will be reduced by 3%.
00:58 Waste age will be reduced by 2%.
01:02 Like this, there have been certain outcome targets.
01:06 And for this, there is a convergent action and partnership participation.
01:10 The most important partner in this story is the community.
01:15 Unless and until the community is engaged in terms of addressing their issues,
01:21 we cannot have a lasting solution to the nutrition.
01:25 So people's participation, people's movement is very vital,
01:29 what we call as a Jan Andho, people's revolution.
01:32 A healthy child, a child who's got a nutritious diet,
01:36 will grow up more immune to all these diseases.
01:40 And we were working in some of the most backward districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bengal.
01:48 So it was difficult because of the levels of nutrition.
01:51 But we did join up with the ICDS program with the integrated child development scheme
01:57 and were able to make an impact.
02:01 So we do have a plan.
02:04 It's about how are we going to implement and how well we're going to implement. That's the question.
