Former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday turned 90 years old on Thursday.
His family arranged a pre-birthday celebration for him and during the event, Mr. Panday said his desire during his 90th birthday celebrations was to have been with his family and dear friends who, in his words, he had "neglected for so many years" while he "was consumed with politics."
