Prime Minister Kamla Persad-BIssessar told the House of Representatives a short time ago that the Cabinet has decided to give the Shouter Baptists a Secondary School.

The Prime Minister made the announcement as she extended greetings for Spiritual Baptist Shouter Liberation Day on March 30th.

00:00When I had the chance as Prime Minister, I then worked together with the great person she is,
00:07our mother, Archbishop Barbara Burke.
00:10I worked with her.
00:13And we then did the Early Child Care Centre, an ECCA, preschool as you may call it.
00:19But I don't intend to stop there.
00:22My sister said, let's make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
00:25And therefore, my next step is to give the Shogda Baptists a secondary school.
00:32And so they've been yearning, moaning, groaning, shouting, we want a secondary school.
00:39And Cabinet, we agree, ministers, we will give to the Shogda Baptists their secondary school.
00:44We will work with them.
