While the Central Bank has not raised its interest rates, it is open to the idea but would act based on the data. This was outlined by the Bank's Governor Dr. Alvin Hilaire who is giving some hope in the not too distant future concerning inflation.
He delivered the keynote address during a public seminar hosted by the United Nations, to give a global economic update and the probable impact on this country.
