00:05Hello and welcome to another video, today we're unboxing this, or unpacking it I guess.
00:12This is a Pocket Station, a PlayStation 1 game, and it looks like the manual for the Pocket
00:16Station.
00:17We've also got a PlayStation 2 here, so we can put it in and have a try with it to
00:22see
00:22what it's like.
00:24Probably only briefly though.
00:26So let's get to opening it.
00:38Still wrapped in like a cling film, a bit of noodles.
00:44Looks like it might be a bit hard to open, so I'll try cutting this off.
00:48Probably isn't the best way to cut, but it's the best I can do one handed.
01:02I think it's probably the best way to get off this thing.
01:06Okay.
01:09Let's go.
01:10Let's go.
01:17Let's go.
01:26Let's go.
01:31Let's go.
01:32Let's go.
01:33Let's go.
01:37Let's go.
01:44Let's go.
01:47Let's go.
01:49Let's go.
01:50Let's go.
01:52Let's go.
01:53Let's go.
01:54Let's go.
01:55Let's go.
01:56Let's go.
01:56Let's go.
01:57Let's go.
01:57Let's go.
02:02And here it is, we've got our pocket station, got two little wrist straps on it.
02:09This one's a little blue colored pixel art, it's quite faded, or at least the strap's
02:15yellowed.
02:18Looks like it's like Street Fighter or something, I'm not exactly sure.
02:22The other one's just a generic pocket station, this strap, and then here's our pocket station,
02:29battery compartment, I want it probably out of battery, yep, there's the contacts, just
02:41peeking on the back, I'll zip it in the other translucent one I have, receiving right through,
02:49taking the battery out because it was dead, it's got a silver speaker, here's the pocket
02:57station manual, it's an all-out mathematical icon, then here is the game, the case doesn't
03:06seem cracked to anything, so that's good, a bit hard to see because of the reflection
03:13through the camera.
03:15As you can see it's got a game and it's also got a pocket station little game that you can
03:20play as well.
03:21In the future we have to get some CR-232s so we can try that out on the pocket stations.
03:29Let's open this up, got our manual on here, here's the disk, just a simple disk with writing
03:43and images in silver, doesn't seem to get any scratches on the disk so that's good, let's
03:52just see, so I'll check to see whether this works, whether it starts up, because even
03:58though there's no battery in it, this one, when I plug it into the PS2 and turn it on,
04:03it comes up with a little message on the screen, so let's open this one, this is a bit dirty
04:08down here, so open this one up, plug it in, and let's turn this on.
04:21It doesn't look like it's turning on, it's interesting, this other one, let's start up, so it might
04:34just be the contacts are a bit dirty, making a good connection, so I'll try putting it in
04:42out a little bit of time, so we don't have to clean the contacts.
04:55There we go, that was a brief one at least, flashing red, don't know if that's good or not.
05:09There we go, it looks like this one works now, so I probably won't play this, maybe in a future
05:16video, but that's it for this video, if you like this video, if you like the video, comment
05:19down below what you thought, and subscribe, so you don't miss any future videos.
05:53We'll see you guys next time.
