In its first sitting since the Parliament passed the 2023 Budget in October the House of Representatives debated a bill that proposes increases in the fees for legally owning a firearm in this country.
The Government’s says it is not just not only a revenue earning measure.
The Opposition is questioning how it will help in the fight against crime which is fueled by criminals using illegal firearms.
