The government collected RM5.4bil from the Sales and Services Tax in the past two months, exceeding its estimate of RM4bil, said Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.
He also refuted a report by Nomura Research that Malaysia would record a budget deficit of 3.9% for 2018.
